I've been buying the Levi's 512 cut for a few years now, but this is the first time I've purchased them via Zappos. Buying on Zappos was actually a better online shopping experience than Levi's own website. If you do own a pair of 512 jeans from before, check the fabric composition (% cotton, % elastane, % polyster, etc.) and compare them to the fabric compositions of each color in the description for desired fit. Otherwise, Zappos' exchange policy is generous for finding the right fit. A higher ratio of cotton to synthetics tend to not stretch over time and are more durable, and a higher ratio of synthetics to cotton tend to stretch slightly over time and feel softer to the touch (more premium feel). Also check the names of each color on Zappos' website for certain features (something Levi's doesn't do anymore). Warp stretch styles only stretch vertically and not horizontally. This feature makes the jeans make the jean fit smaller with no give.

Style fit and color were exactly as described....will buy another in a different color as soon as my size comes in...Zappos service is the best....I love this place

My grandson is a slim 6’5” and needs the size 34x36 which is extremely hard to find. He loved these instantly and fit was perfect. Thanks Zappos

I have a big butt so most tapered/skinny styles don’t work for me. I don’t know what it is but these are just cut in a way that feels more comfortable than other styles.
