I bought these for my father who has balance issues due to valley fever and had a chuck of his arch taken out a few years back. He put them on this morning and has been walking in them all day. He says they fit great and support his ankles and arches perfectly. He hasn't felt wobbly at all in them and says they don't hurt his feet, aren't heavy like his other support shoes are. Gonna have to buy him a few more pairs.

everything about Propet Stability X Strap is great. I bought these for my husband and he wears a prothesis right leg and he is walking much better with these shoes. his balance is much better....thank you

I bought these for a disabled friend who cannot tie shoes. His other issue is a large bunion that requires him to buy wide shoes. He had been buying cheap shoes at Wal Mart and I encouraged him to try a better quality shoe. He loved them so much that he asked me to buy another pair for him in fear that Zappos may not have this shoe when he needs them again.

My son has had several operations on his feet and requires special wide shoes. These Propet are amazing- lightweight, comfy and he really loves them. I highly recommend these.

These shoes are much more ugly in real life

Purchased for an elder man, this shoe was perfect for him. Support, easy to get on and off, light weight.

I brought these for my hubby as he is challenged with edema in his lower legs & feet. These shoes fit the bill perfectly. Easy for him to put on & comfortable all day long.

little arch support. little toe protection. BUT, good stability (in the name!) overall an alright diabetic shoe.

My husband has diabetic neuropathy and Parkinson's disease. These worked great, the fit was good we ordered extra wide as sometimes his feet swell. The shoe provided stability and support but was still light weight.

Bought these for my 20 yr old son who has cerebral palsy and wears an AFO on his right leg. Even with both inserts out of the right shoe, it was too tight on the top of his foot. There's a leather (?) piece that goes over the top that seems tight - even on the other foot without the brace. If you have an AFO - you may have to go a different route - OR get a wider fit than regular.

I’m very pleased with this purchase the shoes are very very comfortable and that’s what I wanted I can use them for work for working out taking long walks walking on a treadmill whatever they’re very very comfortable and that’s what I wanted.

I was extremely disappointed in this shoe. The footbed was hard with almost no support. I feel like I was walking in wooden shoes from Holland. I didn't buy this shoe for style but was looking for comfort and support and I don't feel this shoe had either.

Good looking, one wide strap, lightweight, comfortable. Because my husband struggles to put on shoes independently, his PT added hooks to his shoes which the shoemaker now adds to all his shoes with one strap. A reacher or a stick with a hook is used to pull on the shoes by the hooks on the strap and tongue of the shoe.

They are very nice shoes. They are worth the price.

I bought these for my father, he loves them! They are true to size, light weight but help with stability. They have good support and easy to put on. I definitely recommend them.

Was a bit smaller and definitely less width for the size listed. Good looking shoe. Just order with appropriate adjustments

Purchased these for my husband. He says that they do not fit. He has dementia so very hard to satisfy. These looked perfect to me but I can't make the determination that they fit or not...just have to rely on what he says. Attractive and easy to put on and remove.

Long-time Propet shoe customer ... first time Zappos buyer! Wife ordered this style along with the light gray and she loved the updated look while I rely on stability and comfort which was delivered promptly for our island get-away. My old shoes went up in smoke from recent wildfire :(

great shoe for disabled father

These shoes are perfect for my dad. He is limited in his ability to bend and put on shoes but these shoes have made his life so much easier. They are so easy to slip on and they are very very comfortable. He didn't have any breaking in time. Great from the start.

Excellent fit and comfort, great to be able to get shoes in comfortable wide sizes! No complaints! What about a golf shoe from Propet?

Purchased these shoes for my 99 year old father. They are nice and light, and the single velcro strap is easy for him to manage and accommodates swelling in the feet. He says they are comfy and seems quite satisfied with the shoes. I wasn't sure of the size so ordered two pairs in different sizes and returned the one that didn't fit. I can't take him out shoe shopping so I really appreciate how easy it is to return with Zappos.
