I have worn the classic New Balance for years. These shoes are perfect for me. Great fit, last a long time and look great.

Honestly if you're on the fence just get them! The 574's are my go to sneaker. Since I was a teenager. Fast forward 20 years later and I'm still rocking them. I usually go to the sneaker store and buy them. Considering everything that's going on now I had to buy them online and I was extremely hesitant. I'm so very glad I did. This particular pair is without a doubt the best pair I've ever had. I'm a size 10 faithfully, normal width. This pair feels like I'm walking on clouds. There was no "break in" period at all. Which kind of surprised me. My last pair (that I got from the sneaker store) had to be "broken in" a couple times because it was slightly tight by my big toe on my left foot. After a couple of workouts they were prefect. This pair is not like that. I can't express any more how perfect they are. Thank you Zappos! I'm trying to find a way to get about pair and tell my husband that the someone somewhere messed up and sent me another pair for free lmbo!! All my ladies know what I'm talking about ha! Seriously tho, I'm getting another pair that's how comfortable they are. Oh and the material is suede.

These are amazingly comfortable shoes. I have wide problem feet with bunions, arthritis and neuromas. With these shoes, I can put off surgery on my feet. The arch support is great and the toe box room is the best! The material is soft and flexible. To top it off, they are really cute and trendy.

Love these shoes. Great for everyday wear and lots of walking. Great neutral colors.

Love these shoes! In terms of picking the right size, I’d never worn New Balance before so I wasn’t sure. I consistently wear a euro 40 across the board, but what they listed as 40 did not correspond to my range of typical American sizing. I ended up ordering the Women’s 9.5 (41) and the Men’s 7.5 (40.5), and the M7.5 was impossibly small and the W9.5 was pretty perfect, if not a tiny hair snug. Very little built-in support but I always use Superfeet insoles anyway so that’s no drawback. Quite like the slight lift in the heel, it’s always nice to feel a bit taller!

I’m usually a size 9 but I wear 9.5 in tennis shoes. I ordered the 9 and they’re perfect. I got them for work(12 hour shifts where I’m constantly on my feet). I’ve worn them a few times and they’re very comfortable. My feet don’t hurt at all at the end of the shift. If you need comfortable shoes, get these!

I bought these shoes one half size larger than my normal size as was suggested. They fit perfectly. I am usually a 7 and bought a 7.5. These shoes are so cute and comfortable. I absolutely love the retro look. Put them on as soon as they arrived and they get great and haven’t hurt my feet at all after wearing them all day.

Every few years I buy these same sneakers... this color is my favorite so far. Love these shoes.

Great shoe; though, the arch support was farther forward in the shoe than a natural arch. This may be a quality control issue since I have never had a problem with this size of 574s before. After a week of wearing them in, they’re fine.

Loved! Fit was perfect, even the width. Color is great, extra pair of laces to switch out if you want more understated.

Honestly, I had to purchase this pair after having purchased another NB pair a half size smaller. My wife says she loves the purple color and the overall cool styling and says they feel just perfect! We walk for miles on the beach daily and my wife says these sneakers feel comfortable from beginning to end. Thanks, Lance

Wish I did not size up like previous reviews stated. Maybe if you have wide feet you should, however I have normal width and sized up a half size and they were huge! My ankles were sliding out when I tried them on. Will be returning for my normal size.

I love these shoes since I bought them I got so many compliments since I bought them.

I am usually a 7 and ordered that size assuming I might need to exchange for a 7.5 based on other reviews, but my heels were slipping out of the 7 and they were overall too loose, so I ended up ordering a 6.5. The European size on the 7s was listed as 37.5 on the box, and I am usually a solid 37, so it makes sense that a 6.5/37 would fit. I wonder if the other folks that found them to run large just aren't used to such a padded shoe? These are cute, comfy, and retro looking. Good support. I don't really care for the overly complicated and colorful styles of most athletic/running shoes available and these are simple looking and cool. Good for exercise but wearable with jeans too.

I just received these 574 Classics in size 11 color Daybreak and they seem to fit great. Love the color for spring & summer ... a light grayish lavender. Many reviews indicated these ran small so I first ordered a 12, but way too big. Other than the toe box feeling slightly smaller than other 574s I have, these seem to feel the same.

Cute shoes, too wide

I really wanted these shoes to fit. They are cute and comfortable, but I guess I am in between sizes. I am normally a 7, so I first ordered 7.5 based on reviews. My toes were touching the end in the 7.5, so I decided to try an 8. The 8 was too long, even with an added insole. Oh well. Would be cute and comfortable if they fit.

Nice sneakers for the fall. I love the color and they are comfy. I will use a more cushioned insole in these. The current situation is not supportive enough for me.

I love the New Balance Classic sneaker and the Wheat Field color is so pretty. But they were much stiffer than the last couple of New Balance Classics I've worn and my feet just couldn't get used to the stiffness.
