There was no liner in the short. Not good for running.

I got these in the 3” length last year, but only the 5” was available this time. Still great shorts. Doesn’t have lining like last year’s style, but is longer so it’s okay. Wish it had pockets, but overall great shorts.

I am a 58-year-old female that jogs 2 to 3 times a week. My age is showing with regards to muscle tone so I prefer running shorts a bit longer but not too long as to bind or chafe. These work perfectly.

I really like these shorts. Unfortunately they don't have pockets, but to throw on a pair of shorts real quick or go on a run with just keys in your hand they are great. I also like them because they are longer than most women's shorts, still shorter than a typical men's short length!

I'm not one to wear shorts but really like these!!

I love these shorts so much! They are extremely light, great for these hot, summer days. The length is perfect for me (I'm 5'5, and size 14/16 or XL). I will purchase these in every color they come out with!!!

These shorts are light weight and super comfy which makes running in them a breeze!

I love these shorts! First of all I'm 60 and cannot and will not wear shorts that have a 3 inch shorts. These are 5 inches and are perfect. I'm not heavy but also not skinny. I wear these kind of shorts every day and to the gym to workout. Please continue to create and make shorts that are like these. I bought both colors.

My title says it all. These are not pretentious shorts. They are not lined--no short liner, no brief. No pockets. They have a 5" inseam, which I think is about the longest NB does generally. They are your basic throw-it-on and go short. I pull them on over a swimsuit to go to the pool, I throw them on to go for a quick walk, sometimes I hike in them or wear them all day. They dry very quickly but are a nice fabric--not "swimsuit-y" and do not make a "swishy" sound when you walk like some quick-dry shorts. I love them--I have them in black and in navy (pigment) and they are just basically a great no-frills short. I am a size L and I think they have enough looseness to not be tight and yet not too loose.

Fit seems true to size.

I love the 5 " length. These shorts don't have a liner tho so know that before you buy. They fit well and are stylish

I couldn't tell from the photo on-line, but they are straight shorts (no built-in underwear). Very comfortable and light on a hot day. Disappointed that there wasn't a key pocket. I have another pair of NB running shorts that have both underwear and pockets and they are my FAVORITE. These were not the same. Oh well. I like them still, but not nearly as much as my other pair
