This is the most amazing pair of boots I have ever owned. They arrived promptly, and out of the box the fit was perfect- secure heel box, excellent arch support and a roomy just- right toe box. This pair replaces my beloved asolo stynger gtx- that are now 20 years old and showing their age. I'll let you know in another 20 how this pair does! But I am extemely happy- recommend!!

This boot runs one whole size larger. I wear an 8.5, my old Asolo's are 8.5, had to buy a 7.5 in this boot. Now that I found the right size, they are wonderful, feel like my 15+ year old Asolo's.

In a normal casual sneaker I'm usually a 6.5 and a 6.5 fit perfect length wise. This is such a nice looking boot and felt sturdy. I loved the arch support, but sadly I have a super narrow, low volume foot. There was still some extra room in the toe box so I had to return them. These seem a little heavier than my current Salewa boots, but that wouldn't have bothered me.

This is my third pair of Asolo hiking boots. They were first recommended by a Chamonix guide as the best women's boots. She should know. I do a lot of hiking over rough trails of rocks, roots, and through streams. They are awesome and well worth the price if you do serious hiking.

Love, love, love these! Many women biologists in my office, including me, wear heavy-duty Asolos for fieldwork. I had the Asolo Fission for the past 3 years and they needed replacement. Fission doesn't seem to be available anymore, but these Drifters felt like meeting an old friend when I slipped them on. I have feet on the narrow side (though I wear a regular width shoe) with high arches and I like a roomy toebox - these shoes somehow feel secure while also feeling like they are just floating on my feet. So glad to have found these available in my size on Zappos!

i like the fit of this boot as my foot tends to be narrow but BIG and so i have tried mens boots but they are too wide and my foot gets lost in them -- these are comfortable and i am looking forward to hiking in them -- they didn't skimp on the size or the quality -- my daughter and her husband both have narrow feet and they recommended then -- i don't think they are too narrow -- just not so wide that my foot slides around --

I pretty consistently where the same size in almost all my shoes but sadly this was at least a half size too large. Regardless to whomever may consider this boot I want to say that it was exceptionally well constructed and designed, and, probably would have been outstanding on rugged trails and longer hikes.

Runs larger than other similar hiking boots. I'm a 7 1/2 in La Sportiva and Scarpa, but these in 7 1/2 were at least a half size uniformly too large. Otherwise they seemed like great boots. (But I went for the Scarpas which felt a little more cushioned.)

BEST BOOT EVER. I think I've been buying this exact Asolo boot for over 15 years. I replace them every 18 months or so, as I work outside a lot and I wear them almost daily. My flat feet need the support at the ankle. This construction has been very consistent over the years (thank you Asolo!). My problem feet can only tolerate the highest quality shoes. These are worth every penny. I have a long narrow foot (that pronates) and I wear these with custom orthotics.

I was reluctant to order these at first because I have not had much luck with hiking boots in the past. These are the best hiking boots I have ever had. Ready to go from the beginning. No break in time at all. Worth every penny!!

Runs large. Normally wear an 8 1/2. Returned for an 8, now ordering a 7 1/2. My 15 year old Asolo’s were an 8 1/2. Sorry Zappos. I feel like once I get the size right I will love them as much as my 15 year fabulous Asolos that are no longer made for women, men only. ??

Same as the Lowas I bought at the same time to compare, i wanted to love these boots as there were so many good reviews of them. I wear size 10 all shoes so ordered size 10. Put on my hiking socks, slid them on and nope! Toe box too small. I would say I have wider feet but never have had to order wide shoes. I do have a high arch and tendinitis in my second toe but never really was able to evaluate how they would work with these issues. Took socks off. Nope. I was shocked as these were recommended for wider feet. Had to return. Totally bummed. On to my search for the best boot for my feet. Bought Lowas at same time and both had the exact same issue.

This shoe runs big. Very comfortable and cute.

I have been wearing Asolo boots for years. These were supposed to be the replacement to what I have worn as they stopped making my style. THEY ARE NOT! They are HUGE! Huge in length. Huge in width.
