Very disappointing.

Do I have high arches? Or a “high dorsal profile” ? Been wearing shoes for over 50 years and didn’t realize that I might, but these boots were impossible to get my foot into! Perhaps a shoe horn and some Crisco would’ve helped... They also had really deep vertical slashes on the sides that would definitely be weird in wintry weather. As in, not practical. Chilly. Sock revealing. Sorry Sorel, I love you guys, but these booties missed the mark. Back they go.

These fit true to size. I’m a 7.5 M and can sometimes go up to an 8 M. I listened to others that said it was ran small and was narrow and I ordered an 8. They were too big. Lesson learned, order your usual size and if it doesn’t work out return to Zappos who is amazing with returns and exchange. However, that said, these were really uncomfortable once I got my correct size. They rubbed in the back and the inside of the ankle. Didn’t feel any arch support or comfort in them at all. Usually Sorel is a go to brand for me but these just were not good. Returned.

ran a tad small and VERY hard to put on i think the shoes are very good looking but i could not get the left shoe on did not want to damage so am returning loved the style, the leather and the heal but they just dont fit! i own two pairs of sorel joan of arc wedges and they fit just fine as do my winter boots.

I usually wear a 8 1/2 N and, based upon other reviews, I ordered a 9 1/2 and 10. I could not squeeze my foot in the 9 1/2 - maybe because I have a high instep. The 10 was enormous and felt hard inside so both sizes were returned. I had ordered a pair of the fur-lined, short Sorel boots with zippers and loved them but I won't attempt to order them in any style that does not have a zipper.

I have several pairs of Sorel winter boots in size 9 and I love them and the fit. I bought these in size 9.5 given some of the reviews. I could not even get my toes into the shoe!! The sizing of the ankle/heel and opening is way off. I wouldn’t even say these shoes are narrow, they are just made in such a way as it’s impossible to get them on past the ankle/heel. They are strange.
