This was my favorite ankle boot out of the 6 that I picked as my favorites. I was extremely disappointed when I decided I had to return it because it just didn’t feel comfortable out of the box. I have had several foot surgeries, so I cannot take chances on a shoe “breaking in” or getting more comfortable over time with wear. If it doesn’t feel good immediately, I have to return it. I am bummed because this shoe has some interesting material and design that make it extremely transitional for dress or casual.

Love the fit and style! It is so hard to find style and comfort in my size, but this boot has both!

Got the Gray & Black Gunmetal boots, but sadly have to send these back. I love the funky, clunky look of these booties, but for some reason, they aren't as comfortable as other Bernie Mevs that I have. But I'm still a fan & will continue to check out others that ZAPPOS has!

These are pretty cute, but they run at least half a size small. Actually I'm not sure going up that half a size would have solved the problem of how shallow they felt - the top of my foot was pressed up against the top of the shoe.

Comfortable but very clunky-looking.

I love that you can adjust the strap around your ankle. I wear size a 11 and have a narrow foot but these seemed a half size too small and I’d say they fit more like a narrow. Too bad they do not have a bigger size, I think they would be comfy!

love Bernies shoes but the rear entry zipper was just too hard to reach for me with my aging body- think they are going back. love the look-like "spats" (anyone born after 1950 may have to look that word up.)

Runs 1/2 size small. Had to return.

Women with large feet, like myself at a US size 11, should ALWAYS prepare to be disappointed by the European sizes. I've never experienced them as anything close to what the charts say. That is, a 41 OR 42 is a US size 11. It is not. Ever. 43 is the best you can do, and usually I don't see that size offered. It is with these wonderful boots, but, again. They, at sz 43, are still too small. Width is not quite as bothersome, but it'd be great to have a Wide option. Because these boots have a zipper up the back, I plan on doing some surgery with adding an elastic triangular gusset which I'll sew into the zipper opening. I think they're that cute. It pays to be handy.

I was excited to find these shoes because they appeared to have many terrific features. I took others advise and ordered 1/2 size larger than my normal shoe size. Alas, this shoe runs at least a full size smaller than my normal shoe size. The toe box is quite narrow as well. Even though the arch support is non exhistent, I won't reorder in a larger size because I suspect the arch area will simply not fit properly. The zipper on one of the shoe was extremely difficult to operate. I will not bother with ever ordering from this manufacturer in the future. I do hope others will have a better experience, however, Caveat emptor.
