These hoodies are getting cheaper and cheaper with every passing year. But interestingly enough, the price keeps increasing (up $15 from a few years ago). It seems they're really catering to the people who value fashion over functionality and value for money. The lightweight fabric is so thin now it barely keeps me warm anymore. It used to be made out of a midweight fabric but I'd say it is definitely a lightweight fabric now and it just feels cheaply made overall. It has a lot of stretch to it, which is an indication of cheap material. The sleeve cuffs lose elasticity quite fast as well. I hate the feeling of loose sleeve cuffs around my wrists. TNF has really gone downhill in quality this year. Four items I've purchased this year have been disappointing. Three of them I returned. TNF better turn it around soon or I'm gone.

Very dissapointed in how thin the sweatshirt was. For the price that they charge for there clothes, they should make there hoodies alot thicker and warmer. Im 6'3 and got a large, the sleeves and length were to short. Returned item

The sweatshirt was delivered with a stain.

Unfortunately, i had to return this sweatshirt as it ran very snug.

Good fitting but fabric not too good

Gave this to my guy for Christmas. In fact ,i got him two. He loves the way it fits. I love the way it feels. It is perfect for any thing we do. He likes the black one to chill in. I love the blue one makes his eyes sparkle. They both will wear and wash good. He has a older one with the same fabric. Very nice looking. Great price. !! Deliv

Great looking product but over the years have owned several with inconsistent quality. Not sure why I continue to purchase this product. The latest one pilled up after only one wash which is unfortunate because it's a great color.writing these reviews doesn't go anywhere as I never hear from customer service.

The Fabric pill start as soon as i put it one and left many many remnants in the car or couch and every where I sat. After removing I have long thick lining material in my hair or clothes. Not Happy with this purchase.

I was disappointed. The colors that are displayed for this sweatshirt were not the colors the sweatshirt actually are. Aside from cosmetic details. It is a very nice warm sweatshirt. The neck is a little tight. I have to take my glasses off every time I put it on or take it off so that's annoying. There could be a bit more.....elastic in the material, make it a little more stretchy. I find the the sleeve cuffs stretch out every time I wear it as well as the waist cuff. I never really stays tight to my torso/waist, feel like I even float in the small a bit. I have a sweatshirt I bought at H&M that is seemingly identical except that it's material has a bit more polyester in it? I don't know its stretchier and stays tight to my body. Anyways I returned the sweatshirt. There in my opinion changes that need to be made. but that's not up to me. Would I buy this sweatshirt again? No. Knowing what I do now about it, I would not pay $49 for it. Even if I didn't know, $49 is still too high for this sweatshirt, maybe $29 but not $49. Ok I'm done.

I love these Half Dome hoodies but it seems like every other one I buy it shrinks to the point I cant even wear them. I have purchased probably 4 half dome hoodies; all from a local store in the past 6-9 months. Of the 4; 2 have shrank and I do not even dry them anymore and I always wash in cold/cold. I always buy a size up as well. Very disappointing lately.

I have a bunch of NF sweatshirts, all the same size, but this one shrunk like crazy after the first wash and was way too short, while still being too loose in the mid section. I'm 6'2" 230 and this was an XXL. Overall the quality is really good, the huge logo on the hood is a little much but not a deal breaker. If you have a shorter torso this might be great for you.

when i bought it it felt comfortable and fit extremely well. first wash and it began to shrink substantially after a few more washes the sleeves became wider and the bottom rim or shirt tail was shorter, it was extremely wide and now it does not fit well around the waist it looks like the bottom of a dress. i have always enjoyed your equipment and clothing and would recommend anything from your store to a friend, but i was extremely disappointed with this hoodie

It leaves linen balls all over and it continues to do so second wash

Size is not as per the specifications. Medium size is too big and the hands are very lengthy than normal size. Medium is like Large Size and if possible can I return it

Huge for differently than the other hoodie

All of Northface gear fits way too small. You gotta size up for the right fit.

I bought this for my husband as a Christmas gift and as soon as he wore it the armpits looked "bleached" from sweat, he's not on anything that would make it do this and this is 1st time it's happened.

Developed a hole after two wearings. Very disappointing.

too large

I bought two of these sweaters, both in large but one in white and one in black. The white one I bought from The North Face website and the black one I bought from Backcountry because it wasn't available in large on The North Face website and it suggested me to Backcountry. The black one fits me well but the white one is too big on me. I don't know if it's because they're different colors or if it's because I bought them from different websites. I don't even know which of the two is the original sized one. :'(

Too small

I returned this sweatshirt because it was too big for my son. I still have not received a credit for the return.
