This is a nice shoe, but a little too narrow for my foot. Bottom of the foot felt very comfortable, but after a long walk sides of the feet felt squeezed.

One of the lightest shoes I have ever worn! Definitely needs to be wider.

My first pair of Elevons. I'm on my 9th pair of Bondis. I wish I wouldn't have thrown the box away before trying them on. The sizing is smaller. A bit snug.

The Elevon running shoe has been a nice light weight addition for me. It does seem slightly narrow as a medium width shoe and a little less than plush for impact absorption.

I got so many compliments on these shoes. I would have givetn 5 stars if they were wider. They are also not as plush as the Bondi. O have had surgery on both feet for plantar fascists and have. Worn Hokas for 5 years now. First time in Eleven though. I had to exchange them because my feet were killing me after a few days.

I purchased this shoe based on the profile (Neutral/Plush), as I have a pair of Bondi 6 which I absolutely LOVE. However, it didn't quite feel the same. Plush, but more rigid than the Bondi. Without knowing how the criteria is designated, I would probably rate these more in the Stability (v. Neutral) area. I still use them for training on the treadmill, but would probably not use them for road running, as I feel the discomfort the next day.

These are a little snug, but breaking in now. Cushion is good, but not as soft as I hoped. There still a good shoe once they expand in width.

The Elevon's are more narrow than my Clifton's and don't provide the same amount of cushioning. They are comfortable, but Hoka One One gives the Elevon the same cushion rating as the Bondi. I'm disappointed with the lack of cushioning. I'll use them as a casual walk-around shoe.

70 yrs old, have run marathons, 1/2 marathons, 10k's since my teens, both knees replaced, reconstruction surgery on my right ankle/foot just recently. This style shoe was recommended due to the plush construction of the shoe. Not sure this recommendation was the best choice for me, I do however can see how some people would love the shoe/fit. I feel I have other shoes that do a better cushioning response to my feet and knees. I went with what was recommended, perhaps more research would have been better.

This is one of the more comfortable running shoes in my closet. Very well cushioned but still pretty light. Good for long runs. However, the back of the shoe is a little soft, there is no tab to ease getting it onto your foot and the tongue seems a little short. I was using the shoe as a daily trainer but stopped because I eventiually broke down the back trying to get into it with no tab. I still use them, but not as often as I should for a shoe in this category.

I bought this shoe because of the cushioning but was disappointed to find that my New Balance 1080 shoes had much better cushioning and they were $30 dollars cheaper.

I like this shoe, i was able to up my mileage to 7.5 miles toward the end life of this shoe, i'm 48 years old so i thought that an accomplishment. The other Hoka shoes i've owned have been too soft, and wear out quite quickly running 4 miles a day, this shoe handled it better, however; the plastic around the back of the heal wore through after a few months and started to cut into my feet. i had to use duct tape to keep it from rubbing my heals.

Really like these (bought as a replacement for the discontinued Vanquish). However, they are a lot narrower. Any chance of bringing back a shoe that's the width of the Vanquish!

These are very comfortable, non-rubbing, stable, well cushioned shoes. I am a moderate heel striker and these shoes seemed to completely eliminate strike impact during runs any post-race discomfort. However, there are 2 annoyances with this shoe. 1)The shoe has no heel tag/strap to assist with putting the shoe on. There is a very stiff heel back but I still managed to crush the top part of the heel putting the shoe on. This is a small thing but I think about it every time I put these shoes on since every other Hoka shoe has a heel strap. 2) The tongue on this shoe is too short also making it difficult to put on. I have 8 other pairs of running shoes and they all have longer tongues with a little more padding. The tongue on these shoes is so short that I have to be careful not to go under them with the laces when tieing the shoe. Once the shoe is on, these are great, but it shouldn't be so hard to GET them on.

I wanted the "plush" or the most cushy shoes (most expensive). Unfortunately, there are very few and the color schemes I do not like. I love the comfort as a have back issues but I'd like a blue shoe. Not a teal, not an off color of blue, not light blue--JUST BLUE! but nooooooooo, someone thinks they're being creative. I was going to return (color) but like the comfort too much. Friends have fun busting my chops about 'em.
Comfort good, too few selections of the plush and color schemes funky (yellow & blue? are you high?)

The sole wears better than the Clifton 3 but it is no where near the soft landing. It's better than the Clifton 4 but behind the Bondi 6 in plushness. I too wish HOKA would go back to the Clifton 3.

This shoe is very responsive, ample cushioning, though I would question why it is advertised as "Plush", This more in the 'Balanced' category. I like to

Just like the title says I took them out if the box and without any break-in the Elevons were incredibly comfortable. Even more so than my old Infinites. Just my everyday shoes but when I need new running shoes I wouldn't hesitate to buy another pair. Took off a star because they do get dirty easily.

I have used the shoe 4 times from a 3 mile to a 9 mile run. It is a soft ride (as soft as my Hoka conquest was). Legs felt great after the 9 mile run which is not true of all shoes. It is lightweight. No real break in time required. The under sole that is not covered by rubber (under the ball of my foot) is already showing wear or breakdown. I worry how many miles it will last. If it continues at this rate I worry that I will only get 100-150 miles on the shoe. It is too expensive to only last 100 miles. Time will tell.

I really didn't know what to expect from purchasing my shoes but when I saw a nearly food store rep wearing them, I had to inquired about the unusual looking shoe. He convinced me that they were very comfortable and I like the look so I took the plunge and.made a purchase. I have not regretted this decision

I am a 6'1", 195-lb male who runs about 25-30 miles per week. I run primarily in a Brooks Glycerine (have owned 9-15) and Clifton 3. I bought this shoe instead of the Clifton 4 after reading some of the negative reviews about the Clifton 4. This shoe is good, not great. I've put about 50 miles on it so far - it is simply not as plush as the Clifton 3. In fact, it's hard for me to imagine anyone describing this shoe as "plush." It's a solid shoe - comfortable, pretty fast, but the landing is not as soft as the Clifton 3 (or a Brooks Glycerine). I see this shoe being useful for training runs of 4-12 miles. I don't see myself racing in this shoe or buying it again, to be honest. In all likelihood, I will purchase the Clifton 3 again for daily training and continue using the On Cloudflow's for races.
