After struggling with the width issues for many Hoka models, this is a refreshing update. Out of the box, the shoes fit true to size, but felt a bit tight (pinky toe) areas. Within a couple of days of constant use, they are now quite comfortable after adapting to my foot shape.
The breathable upper fabric is really the key. Other Hoka models take longer to break in, I've used a shoe widener/stretcher in some cases to get the fit right.
Arahi2 is great for walking, asphalt running, and standing at my desk at work.
I'm a slow convert to Hokas.

I was in heaven when I tried the Arahi original; great support yet felt like walking on clouds. Not available when I went to purchase again so tried the Arahi 2. Extremely disappointed. Stiff and hard soled compared to original Arahi. Company no longer makes Arahi original. Had to return Arahi 2.

I ran in Brooks Beasts for 20 + years toe box became uncomfortable switched to New Balance 3+ years ago my arches ans hips started aching about 4 months ago friend and my son told me about HOKA s three weeks ago I have run in them 4 times pain free during the run and I had also experienced lower back pain after the run with the HOKAs that also has disappeared Brooks and New Balance became hard HOKAs cushioning is remarkable Hope when I need another pair ( overpronate ) hter is a larger selection of colors

So far I like these shoes, I've only ran in them about a dozen times but they are comfortable.

I bought two pair of these sneakers. They are the most comfortable, with excellent support. I have owned other Hoka sneakers but found Arahi 2 an excellent choice. These sneakers are also great looking!

I bought these sneakers after getting a pair of the recovery slides from my local store. I thought, geesh, if the sandal feels this good what will a sneaker feel like...using the true to my size feature, I found these arahi 2s. I'm typically a 6.5 mens in adidas and used that as my gauge. I'm a 7.5 womens in a shoe like keens. True fit said 7 should work, even those these are extra wides. (Wide foot anyhow...)
The reason I said maybe half size too small is because typically, I'm 6.5. I think if anything I'm a mild pover pronator, and I don't really run but will use these for walking. (And sleeping apparently) I like the amount of cushioning, I like soft cushiony sneakers for regular everyday use and I'm curious to try on a pair of Hoka "plush" shoes. These shoes don't feel like you're sinking but they also don't feel like you have cement slabs tied to the bottom of your feet. They work for me. Really, really well.

I am thrilled with these sneakers. Most of my life I was not a sneaker wearer. But I had some foot pain and someone suggested Hokas. I haven't looked back. That was about 3 years ago.

I got my first pair of Arahi 2's back in January, and put over 300 miles on them. Decided to go ahead and buy my second Arahi 2's so I can begin to transition between shoes. I have been very happy with the cushioning and stability for my flat footed over-pronating self, which is why I decided to double down and buy them again. I have literally zero arch in my foot, and found that taking out the Hoka insole and using an off the shelf orthotic insert (I happened to use the Powerstep Pinnacle) gave an extra layer of stability that worked well with the Arahi. I used the shoes predominately for running, but have also worn them for walking around on non-running days (super comfy-cushioning) and light cross training.
My feet are narrow at my ankle and get fairly wide at my toes, so my only wish is that they had a slightly wider toe-box, but other than that, they have been great shoes for me.

I have been running in the Arahi 2 shoes for over 2 years and they are the best I have run on in many years. Currently, I'm on my fifth pair! Unfortunately, you have discontinued making the Arahi 2 so now I'm stuck trying to find a few additional pairs of the 'old' shoes somewhere on-line. Being a life-long runner, I have almost never found a newer model to be an improvement on a pair of shoes I have grown to love. Sincerely, Bill Schieman

I'm getting older and my joints greatly appreciate the soft stability of the Arahi. I bounce back and forth between this and the Gaviota, but feel noticeably quicker in the Arahi.

The Arahi 2 is a perfect blend of style and function. I have put more miles on these than any other running sneaker I have owned. TBH you guys blew it with the 3. Sure it prob runs well but those things look prettty bad. I know this is taboo to say in the running community, but I like to look good while I'm doing my thing and afterwards.

I had a foot injury and the doctor recommended getting sneakers that pass the "pencil test", meaning if you put a pencil in the shoe, bend it, you are unable to break the pencil. These sneakers are absolutely solid, great looking, and actually helping heal my foot. Totally worth it for the price.

I've logged about 50 miles so far in these shoes and I love them. By far the most comfortable shoes straight out of the box that I have owned. I would recommend these shoes for anyone!
