I have the Gel-Quantum 180's from 2017 that I LOVE!!! They were starting to wear pretty bad inside to the point of holes since I wear them 3+ times per week. Got these as a replacement. They look great and seem to have good support, but the way they lace up makes them hard to get snug on my foot and not feel too tight around the ankle. They also make my feet ache after standing in them all day, mostly my big toe and the joint. It took me a while to get used to my 180's but I've given these the same amount of time if not more and they still are not as comfortable as I was expecting or find a store that has overstock of the old versions so I can get another pair of my old ones.

If you had the gel quantums from a year or two ago and loved the way they fit you'll hate these. I had the black and pink ones and they were my favorite shoes ever. The kayanos are closer, but still not the same comfort level.

The shoes are comfortable, but I have to force myself to wear them because my heel slips up each time I take a step, whether I am walking or running. I am extremely disappointed and wish I could return these, but I think it's too late now. I may donate them or use them for work shoes around the house. Also, they just aren't the best feeling Asics. I think the ones I LOVE are called Quantum Gel...I think. But with my heel sliding out, I just cannot recommend these shoes.

I bought these, hoping they would be as wide as previous models. I have two other pairs that are part of the GEL series that have a wide toe box and were super comfy. These were a lot narrower and not as much cushion under my feet. The lacing was weird and it felt like there was too much space between the shoe lace holes. Also the tongue of the shoe was very small so it felt like my foot was going to slip out.

These shoes look very nice and are breathable; however, they are narrow and made my feet ache by noon. I tried to wear them for a couple of weeks to break them in, and couldn't wait to kick them off as soon as I came home.

Had the shoes for 5 days and the middle of the sole came apart.
