Great looking ankle boot. Runs at least a half size small.

The shoe feels a little smaller than the Blondo with taller heels. The suede-like shoe in Liam style is stiffer and less comfortable than the smooth leather in the same style; it rubs on the inside of my foot in front of my ankle whereas the smooth leather doesn't. Notice the suede has tassles on the zipper; the smooth one doesn't.

I loved the style of the boot, but I was concerned about the traction ability of the material used for the soles and heels. Mostly the heels--they were made of a very hard material that made for a slippery situation, especially on the edges. I felt as if I may slip if I hit the side of the heel incorrectly while walking, (I have done this before and fallen) as I almost slipped on my wooden kitchen floors. I would have kept them otherwise. The arch support is not really very good either, but it was mostly the unsafe situation with the heels that I was most concerned about. I was thinking of having them replaced with a softer rubber heel, but found two other boots with great traction that I kept instead. So I am returning these. I would like to find a boot in a similar style, in black suede, but with good support, and a very slip resistant sole and heel. The materials the soles and heels are made of is a very important factor, especially in boots, since they are worn in slippery and hazardous weather conditions.
I'd also recommend:
Chaco's. They have very good arch supports, and excellent traction soles and heels.

Wide shoe was very tight. Enjoyed the dual zipper for ease of putting the shoe on. Like the style, but didn’t look as nice on - looked like a clog and wasn’t as fashionable as it appeared in images.

I just received these, bought the mushroom suede, which is probably as close to the description as color gets. I am trying them out, because these have the oddest fit I have yet experienced in any shoe or boot. I am a 10.5 W in Munro shoes, the standard I use to determine the size of any other shoe, since Munro's have proved to be a consistent fit through at least 15 years of buying that brand. In the Blondo Liam, I sized up to an 11W, thinking the shoe might prove to be huge, because other brands' 11Ws usually are. Instead, the Blondo Liam is "loose" but not big, and if I put my custom orthotics in, the Liam is uncomfortable, and the orthotics, sized to fit my rather large foot, are a bit squashed in these boots, not an experience I am accustomed to. The interior of this boot is not terribly well padded, so since my custom orthotic is not going to work, I have inserted a thin but more padded liner from another pair of shoes (from Ecco). I can wear my foot brace on my left foot, and so far that's the only way the left boot is going to actually fit my left foot. This means that the 11W is indeed too big, but since it's a boot and not a loafer, the fact that it wants to come off my foot is not as much of an issue as it would otherwise be. But I would say that these are oddly sized, because I need the width but not the length, and of course the 10 would be too small. The width of the 11W is just wide enough, and the overall dimensions are not that much bigger than Munro 11M boots I held up to the Liam to compare overall size. I am accustomed to an 11 in any shoe not really fitting, but usually my orthotics fit and it's not a problem. In this shoe, my orthotics are squashed, which I find strange, and the overall length of the shoe is yet too long for my foot without any insert at all. My only thought is that these work better if you have an in-between foot if you can find an insert to both cushion them and fill in the interior of the shoe more adequately. And wear thicker socks. Otherwise, it's an odd fit when compared to every other shoe I've ever tried on. If I'd bought an 11W in a Clarks, for example, the shoe would be huge on me. If I bought an 11W in a Munro, the width would be crazy-wide, but the length would potentially fit. I just need a lighter-colored suede boot, and this is going to have to be a sometimes-worn compromise, rather than a boot I will be able to reliably wear every day for lots of walking (as in a city boot or for traveling). I think this particular boot has a great look, but it needs more padding to make it truly comfortable, or an insert with some padding. However, it's not overpriced, and so maybe that's why there's no insert. I have not removed the tags, can't decide if I'm keeping or sending back.
I'd also recommend:
Munro, Mephistos, Ecco, Dansko

These were simple, just what I was looking for; but the 8 smashed the top of my big toe. The 8.5 did the same thing almost as much, but my foot also slid right down to the front. *sniff sniff* I returned the 8 right away; kept the 8.5 thinking I could make them work w various pads/the right socks; but will be returning them too...my toes all get smashed in the front, and the rest of the boot is very loose.

Loved this crepe soled bootie as it was so comfortable. Never tested the waterproof feature. However, both boots started coming apart in the toe, the sole separated from the boot. My shoe repair Angel states that the "midsole" is cheap and flimsy.

These boots are very cute and stylish, but unfortunately I have to return them. I ordered a 12W and they seemed more like an 11M. I had a hard time just putting on these boots. If there was a 13WW I would have tried those. I recommend getting a full size larger and a size wider. Besides the size, they are super cute and the color was just like in the pictures online.

After only wearing these for 2 months, the sole is coming apart from the right boot near the toe! Otherwise, it’s a good bootie, love the waterproof.

The shoe is really cute, however I have wide feet, aka bunions , and the wide was not very wide. I even double checked to make sure I had the right shoe. thos shoe ran small for me.

My hopes fell short with the Liam. I tried 12, my feet are smaller than size 11.5, and this felt much too short to be a 12. My arches were completely unsupported and actually hurt a little. I don't think the last/sole shape is anatomically correct. I also think this runs nature in the toe box. And I couldn't tell from inspecting whether these heels would start peeling or not. (Fixing/patching a faux-attached heel can be pricey). Seems that for my feet, I need to go up in quality to get the comfort and durability I want.

I’ve never purchased this brand before and I wanted to love these boots. They were exactly what I was looking for and they are very cute. I ordered an 8.5 W instead of my usual 8 based on other reviews. Size wise the 8 would have been fine. I had plenty of length. I would say order your normal size unless you normally waiver between sizes. I was very disappointed in the width. These run more like a C or even a B than a D. I have bunions, and these were tight all the way down to just before the heel. If you usually like Walking Cradles, Softwalk, Rockport etc. you will likely not be happy with the width of these.

This was supposed to be a wide width but was more narrow than a regular width! I double checked the labels because it was so narrow! I can’t imagine what the regular width fits like!

I ordered an 8 W and it was way too narrow! I would hate to see what the normal width ones fit like!? Beside the width, they looked great and I was excited for them to be a suede like fabric but waterproof! Oh well, off to try and find something that is wide enough!

Let me first say that these are a really cute bootie and looked nice when I opened the box. However these boots run VERY narrow. I even ordered a wide size and they were SO narrow I could hardly get my foot inside the shoe. I even checked the inside of the shoe to make sure it was a wide. When I did get my foot in the shoe they were way too snug to keep on. I can't even imagine what a narrow would be like. So, those with wide feet I wouldn't recommend these shoes.

These were very nice-looking boots and I loved that they were water-proof, but they were too narrow and didn't have the arch support that I need. Sorry to have to send them back.

These felt 1/2 to a full size smaller than marked. I'm always a 7.5 but ordered an 8 and they were still bit tight. I thought they looked a bit blah on my foot too.

The toe box is quite short. I started with a 9, returned it for the 9.5, and may return again for a 10.

Nice looks and waterproof suede would be great in our Minnesota climate. They are wildly off on their measurements - general size and width too.

I bought a wide width but the toe box was still a little too small for my taste. Looked good though, wish it would have fit better.

Biondo runs small. The wide width was tight and my usual size was short. They're really cute, have nice arch support, but just too small.

I have on one other pair of blonde boots that were comfortable right out of the box and I was hoping the same with these. It still feels narrow although it’s wide width. It’s definitely on the smaller size compared to the previous blondos I bought. Overall ok but they definitely aren’t holding up as well as the sole of the toe on one boot is starting to come away from the shoe... I was hoping to break them in and find the right insole but now I don’t know if they’ll hold up to a trip to Europe now. Otherwise it’s a cute shoe but not for long hours standing or walking as is narrow and I had to use an insert.
