I found the shoe to run true to size. The arch support seems to be very good. It's a basic shoe that's on trend and is a good value for the money.

These sneakers were a hit from the git-go! They look great and feel even better! I got my usual size and they are perfect. In fact, I intend to get another pair in a different color. I love them!

Finally a cute shoe that’s comfortable to wear all day.

Was looking for a suede or canvas sneaker. Tried Sperry, Keen and neither was as comfortable as Taos. They were the right choice for style and comfort.

Took the advice of getting a half size larger and it was perfect! Love the style, fit and comfort!

I am a size 8, on the wide side of medium in width, and I have a high instep. When I initially tried this shoe on I was concerned about the arch support, as it seemed rather much....but after wearing the shoes for a while it was fine. The only other note would be that I do not use the last set of eyes on the shoe (nearest the ankle) due to my high instep, but that is not an issue for me. They are very cute and look just like the picture (natural tropic vintage print). I wear these with "no show" socks. I am considering purchasing another style from Taos.

Love these! They are comfy and trendy, did take a day to break in but then they were fine. I work in a middle school so I'm always looking at what the kids are wearing and these fit the bill. I remember when these were popular back in the 70's! I spray all my sneakers with Scotch Guard to protect them, especially when they are white! Have gotten may compliments on them.

I accidentally ordered an 8.5 instead of 7.5 so these were to big. Honestly, I think they might run a little big because of how much to big they we're. I like the style of the shoe and would have reordered them in a 7 & 7.5, but I just didn't like the canvas. They used to make these in leather (my friend had a pair), but I couldn't them anywhere. If they do come back out with these in leather, I will definitely buy a pair in grey.

I was looking for shoes in this style but tried Superga and Converse, and the support and comfort was awful. I found Taos and first tried the Star and Star Burst but prefer the higher sole of the Plim Soul. At first I thought these might be tight or stiff or maybe even small. I wore them around the house and then decided to keep them. Within two wears they have molded to my feet well. The heel has softened but is supportive. There is arch support (unlike other brands). I’m glad I didn’t get one size bigger because these are perfect. If you are between sizes, pick the bigger size, but for me I didn’t need to go up a size (tried it and was too big and would have been waay too big when they broke in). I love love these shoes and am waiting to hear when they get more in my size. Finally! The style I want with enough comfort and support. Thanks, Taos and Zappos!

I already had a pair of these great sneakers & wanted another pair in a different color. The arch support is great & they are extremely comfortable. I have wide feet and they actually didn't feel snug at all. I gave a pair to a good friend of mine (because she always threatened to muscle them off my feet) who has medium width feet said they felt great too. I wear these without socks. With socks, I'd recommend sizing up 1/2 a size.

I usually wear a 7 and ordered up to a 7.5 for this shoe and the fit is perfect. The arch support is great!!! The charcoal is dark enough to look fantastic with black, but also looks good with gray jeans. They felt comfortable all day on first wearing. Wish it came is a leather version!

I wear an 8 or sometimes 8.5. The 8.5 fit. I don’t have (much) problem with my heels slipping out the back (I had a serious problem with that in the Taos Star).

I loved the look of this shoe; however, it was just too short for me. It was a nice-looking shoe. Wish it would've fit better for me.

Fit perfectly! Very comfortable. I measure 7 1/2, but always order size 8. I wear them constantly and would buy again!

I've been having some major foot pain lately - I have pretty flat feet and overpronate like crazy. Decided to give these a shot because I love this style, but most shoes like this have zero support. These are incredible. So comfortable - from the moment I put them on my foot pain diminished pretty significantly. I also was surprised to find that the insole these come with is enough support for me - I even swapped in my usual orthotics and decided to go back to the one that come in the shoe! As for sizing, these were pretty consistent. For comparison, I wear a 41 in Birkenstocks and an 11 in Rothys and other flat shoes, and I stuck with an 11 for these. Only "negative" so far is that the heel of the shoe is pretty stiff, so I know I will need to break them in some so I don't get a blister. But that's pretty typical with most shoes.

Love these shoes. My feet are somewhat narrow and they were perfect I fluctuate between a size 10 and 11 and sometimes I really need a size 10 1/2 , which are next to impossible to find. Some size 11 are to wide but these are perfect and so happy to find this style with arch support. I normally wear an orthotic in athletic style shoes but have not gotten this style since I was very.young because they are cut to low for the orthotic. The arch support is so good that I don't have to worry about that. I love the washed tropical look. So cute and perfect for warm weather!

I love, love, love my new Taos sneakers! Just as other reviewers stated, the arch support is an added bonus to the comfort and look of this shoe. I'm delighted with the canvas material and the cute print on the Plim Sole. Now, I'm very tempted to order this same shoe in a bunch of different colors. Enjoy!

These are awesome sneakers! I got the black floral and absolutely love them.

I love these shoes! I have flat, almost wide, feet and overpronation on one foot more than the other. It's almost impossible for me to find shoes that are comfortable and look good. And forget about the overpronation thing. I think the only thing anyone seems to care about with that is if you're a runner or not and I'm not. Back to the shoes. I ordered my normal size 6.5. I didn't order wide either because even though I don't have narrow feet by any means wide shoes are usually just too wide for my heel area. Out of the box they did feel snug and tight maybe too small. I wore them around the house and within just 10 minutes they already felt perfect. The canvas had stretched out to my foots shape that quickly. I find the arch support to be perfect for me because it's a long gradual arch versus an abrupt "bump" were your arch is supposed to be. The first day I wore them to work (I'm on my feet all day on concrete floors) all my foot aches and back aches went away!

This shoe DID run small. Typically in a Jack Purcell, I can wear an 8 but prefer to get an 8.5 in case I might want to wear a thin sock. I ordered these in an 8.5 thinking I was upsizing. They fit like the JP 8.... very similar; maybe a smidge shorter. Reordered a 9 which is very unusual for me in this type shoe. Perfect now. I wore them all day to break them in for an upcoming trip and even though they felt a lot stiff out of the box (just feeling of them) I had no problems throughout the day. Very comfortable. Great arch support compared to other shoes of this type (JP). The styling was nice...chose the shoe to wear with cotton dresses for my trip.

I am usually a true 8 but when I received the 8 show, it was too short and my toes were rubbing agains the front. I returned them and got 8-1/2. They are much better. I appreciate the arch support as I have high arches and wearing flat shoes without support is uncomfortable. Definitely would recommend these.

I was unsure of the correct size to order. I followed the "recommended size" guidelines and purchased the 8.5. While they fit, my toes were crowded (I have wide feet). I returned them for a 9 and I have the length and width needed. I think these shoes need to be ordered 1/2 size up, especially for those of us with wide feet. Once again, Zappos was wonderful to work with!

Loved these - except for one thing.... they were squeaky when I walked. I'm sure it would have worn off but I didnt have time to wait so i returned them.

Love the style and look of the shoe but I have to send mine back because my feet are on the wider side and my little toe rubs. There is a blister waiting to happen if I would wear all day.

I usually order a 1/2 size up on athletic shoes, and this shoe fits great! Love the arch support!
