Overall, these shoes fit well. Very light, but structured. My toes and arch felt really good in them. I would probably agree with ordering a half size up, although the 8 felt true to size for me. Now the downside: these rub the inside of my ankles pretty bad. They are just a centimeter away from being perfect. I wear taller socks and that helps. I actually did not notice this rubbing until after I had put about 5 hours on the shoes which was surprising since I thought something like that would be improved with more break-in. I will continue to try and break these in, but have also ordered another shoe in a different brand.

The soles are great on the racquetball court. They offer good, reliable traction without being too "grippy" I can pivot quickly without my foot sliding on the court or within the shoe. As a court shoe, these are a bit narrower through the ball of the foot than Asics' running shoes. The upper is mesh over the top of the foot, and a stiff material (a smooth, leather-like substance) to provide some support for quick direction changes. The collar is stiffer than the running shoes I love, but is comfortable. I'm happy with this for racquetball. Regarding size, I wear an 8 in Asics, but a 7.5 in Nikes.

Comfortable right out of the box, not too stiff. Good ankle support, prevented them from rolling like they did when I wore running shoes to play tennis.

Theses are super cute shoes, but I will have to return mine. I wear a size 10 in my current Asics, but these seem to run a 1/2 size too small. They are also narrow, which was a bonus for me, but might not be for others. I didn't find the arch support or heel cushion to be as comfortable as my current Asics either, so I'm going back to my old style. It's a bummer though, because these shoes are really cool looking.

Just didn’t feel like I was going to be happy spending hours on the Pickleball courts with these shoes. My old ASICS had wonderful support but they changed them a couple of years ago and I have moved on to NB. I keep trying, as I love the look of ASICS, but comfort comes first.
I'd also recommend:

ASICS have always been my go to shoe for everyday wear, but within 2 hrs of wear my feet were killing me. They felt really stiff and had no support for my arch. I have since purchased some sketchers and my feet love them.

The toe box was a little snug but not too bad. However my heel slipped up and down with every step. I am returning these. Still in search of a good tennis shoe.

These were wide on my narrow foot, and not my first pick for Pickleball. I chose Asic Gel-Rocket 9, in 9.5. (a better color and fit for me).

Runs a half size short. The outside material is rubber which I don’t find aesthetically pleasing. I should have paid more attention to the description before buying. Comfort of footbed is adequate. I returned shoe.

too narrow in toe box. Good cushioning and support, otherwise. I have narrow feet, but the toe area was way too shallow

I ordered these to compare with the Gel Resolution 7, which I've had two pair of in the last year, and which I really like, with a caveat or two. I play tennis 3-4 times per week on both soft and hard courts, plus a little pickleball. Fit: The Gel Court Speed fit shorter and slightly wider in the toebox than the Resolution. For some this may be a plus. I wear 10.5 AA (narrow) in dress/casual shoes, and have found that Asics tend to run narrow compared to other tennis shoes. I wear an 11 in the Gel Resolution 7 and ordered the same in the Court Speed. It was about 1/2 size shorter and slightly wider in the forefoot than the Resolution. The Court Speed is lighter and has better ventilation than my Resolutions, which are a little heavy and hot, although they provide good support. Overall I prefer the Resolution due to the fit. I would have had to try an 11.5 in the Court Speed, which would have likely been even wider than the 11.

These shoes were too stiff and didn't bend like some styles of Asics court shoes. I have found ASICS is hit or miss with the comfort of their tennis shoes but that may just be my preference for a shoe that bends more easily on the court. I returned these for another style of Asics.

These are more rigid and seem narrower than my other Asics tennis shoes. I have a narrow foot and they were uncomfortable on me.

I bought these shoes for pickleball. I usually wear a pair of Asic’s Gel Venture 6. I like the Venture 6s because their lightness and flexibility give me good speed from a standstill. But since they aren't meant for court use, I wear them out quickly. So I thought I'd go with shoes that are meant for court play. Yes these Gel-Court Speed will probably last longer, but they are stiffer and and give me a bit of resistance to my foot work, slowing me down a bit. Also, after a night (or morning) of hard playing, my feet feel like they've been bouncing around in a small box. I'll keep these shoes and use them on the court from time to time, but I'm still looking for the perfect shoe that has both speed and durability. Since the Venture 6s are over half the price of the Gel-Court Speeds, I’ll use them until I can find something better.

Runs small and feels narrower than I expected. I've been wearing them for @ 2 months, and they still feel stiff.

I returned by first pair; although I wear a size 9 in ASICS, these were way too small, so small that I ordered a 10 instead of a 9 1/2. The right outside upper edge kept bumping into my ankle bone when I walked. In general, these just were not as good a fit or as comfortable as my ASICS gel-Game. Because I had worn them once I couldn't return them so off tot he thrift store they go.

I have been wearing Asics for years to play pickleball. This shoe, as well as a few others I have tried recently, are too narrow in the toe box. They also seem to be running smaller. I returned these shoes and will no longer consider Asics when I purchase new ones. I usually buy new pickleball shoes every few months for safety reasons. I really do not like the current colors either.

I have bought many Asics through the years so I had an expectation that these would be as comfortable as past styles. Unfortunately I felt they were more narrow than typical Asics and not as comfortable to walk on (perhaps I picked a style that doesn't have as much gel as others)? Also, the laces are abnormally short, you can barely finish your bow? Sadly, I had to return.

I really didn't like the way these shoes fit or felt on the foot, which was a surprise because I only wear Asics gel for running and I really like them for that. I'm a recreational tennis player, play in leagues, etc. I purchased these for that purpose, and I own another pair of Asics tennis shoes which are okay, not wonderul. These are hard, inflexible and have very little padding or arch support. They are designed for a narrow foot which is fine because I have a slightly narrow foot. I found them too low around the ankle, and stability/traction was horrible. Length was not an issue because I ordered up a 1/2 size as I always do with athletic shoes. Returning! Not my tennis shoe!

I have purchased the Ascics Gel Speed for tennis before and have had issues with rubbing/bruising/blistering on the lower part of the inside ankle bone. I was hoping this model would be different, but even with just trying them on, I felt the same hard pressure on the inside ankle bone. When looking at the shoe, the inside edge is higher than the outside so I guess not surprising this would happen in a sport like tennis with lots of lateral movement. Surprised ascics hasn’t fixed this given several others who have the same issue. I don’t think my ankles are particularly bony, but who knows. Support was great, just wish that inner top edge was lower. Would be absolutely perfect then! I’m unfortunately returning them even though I like how they look and feel otherwise.

I have worn these shoes for pickleball for several months and am very dissapointed. They have remained hard, uncomfortable and heavy. Why is it so difficult to get a comfortable court shoe?
