Lightweight. Gaping holes on the sole collect rocks and stones. They tend to stay with you for a couple miles, if not the whole run.

Love the feel and fit of these shoes! I switch off between these shoes and the Brooks Ricochets and like the PureFlows for my short runs and/or speed days.

Love the 6 and really like the 7 better. Please continue to make or come out with an 8. Also being 74 they are my everyday everywhere shoe, so enjoyed these coming in blacks and grays. Thanks you for making my feet happy as these feel like you made them custom for me!

I have owned several pairs of Brooks running shoes (Ghost and Glycerin), but I bought these shoes for every day use! I originally got them before a trip to NYC because I knew I would be walking miles every day, but I didn't want to wear my running shoes! The PureFlow have far exceeded my expectations! Not only do I wear them everyday- but I have also done some weight lifting in them! They have a stiff enough sole that they can be used for training purposes, but it's not so stiff that it's uncomfortable! I have NOT ran in these shoes yet- so I can't speak on how they feel running, but if you're looking for an "everyday" shoe OR a training shoe then these would be a great fit!

Currently running in my 6th pair of PureFlow 7s. I love the lightweight with just enough cushion. Only drawback is getting wet feet through the bottom. Looking forward to long awaited release of PureFlow 8!

Love!! They provide good stability for weight lifting, but are light-weight, flexible, and breathable for running. My one comment would be that when I'm doing stretches or things like planks, there's a lot of bend that naturally occurs around the toes, so the mesh top toward the tip is getting more visible strain. I think this may lead them to have a shorter lifespan than other shoes with more stiffness around the toes.

I love these shoes! I have run 30 marathons in the PureFlows. I've loved all but the 5s and was glad to see an improvement with the 6s. Keep making these shoes, and don't change them! They 6s and 7s are great as is. Just make new colors and patterns, please. Don't fix what isn't broken!

Very disappointed with this shoe. I'm a loyal Brooks customer and half marathon and full marathon runner. I have loved the previous versions of this shoe. I own 2 pairs of the Pure Flow 6's and was hoping to get the same great experience out of these. This new version seems to run a little small and the material is poor. The toe box of my left shoe cracked within 75-100 miles and this past weekend my right toe box also cracked and I don't even have 150 miles on them yet. Please bring back the old material.

I am a barefoot girl, but longer runs and age have forced me into shoes with some cushion. I have tried many and have been happy with very few (maybe none). This running shoe is comfortable. I am at the end of my training for a half marathon with feet killing me from zero drop flats. These barely needed breaking in - roomy toe-box, moderate support, and it doesn't force my foot into an un-natural position. LOVE.

Great shoes! I wear them for CrossFit and I run 1 to 2 miles with each training session. Shoes are super comfortable and I've had no issues. My last shoes which were also Brooks we're not as well suited. I no longer have pain in the outside of my foot when I work out from these new shoes.

These shoes are the best. They're light, not too soft, not too hard, I go fast, and I don't get blisters. It took me a bit to get used to them, but once I did, I didn't ever want to run in anything else. I gave up the Glycerine for these and haven't looked back since.

I owned a previous PureFlow version and when I developed plantar fasciitis, it was the only shoe I could wear that did not cause a severe level of pain. I decided to order a black pair that would be more color suitable for work. I am disappointed to say that, although the pain level is still lower wearing the newer PureFlow verses other shoe brands, they do not offer the comfort and stability of my older PureFlow version.

This is the last of the pure project shoes to my utter disappointment. The pure cadence (1st edition) was the best shoe I've ever worn (subsequent versions were not as good but still the best I could find). I still have a very worn pair of the 1st edition that I refuse to get rid of. I have tried several other styles of Brooke shoes (including this one) since the cadence was discontinued. None have come close to the comfort and knee saving ability of the cadence. Please bring back the cadence.
