Been running in Brooks Ravena 8s for the last 300 miles and they just started to break down. Enjoyed the show, but wanted to get to something with a lower drop. Out of the box these are beautiful shoes. Fit snug, great color, arch support is just right. Only downside is they run small. Wore a 10.5 in the Ravena and will need a 11 here. Can't wait to put some miles on em.

Very soft shoes were not stability as the description said. My ankles real easily and I need support. Not happy with these.

Don't find any alternatives to theese great shoes. The best shoes I ever owned, I have now 2000km on my purecadence4 and 1600km on my purecadence 5. They will continue to rack up miles until brooks relaunch this shoe. Both Ravenna and Asteria have much larger drop and not comparable.

Agreed with everyone upset this shoe is gone! I absolutely LOVED them! They were so lightweight yet had such great support! VERY upsetting!

I have plantar fasciitis. This is the ONLY shoe I can wear without orthotics!!! Why would you discontinue making the ONLY shoe that allows me to run free!? So disappointed. SMH

Since I tried PureCadence, I was sure I'd found my shoe. While I have others in my rotation, there are no other shoes I've tried from any brand that fit the bill like these. They're light, they have low drop, they fit just right, and yet they provide both support and enough cushioning to save my toe balls, shins and knees from pain. Why on earth did you discontinue this amazing model? And why have you got no real alternative.

Husband needed new running shoes, so I upgraded the previous Brooks cadence shoes he had- he loves these! May never buy another type of running shoe! He says they are even more comfortable than the previous version.

I want three things in a shoe: some stability, low heel-to-toe drop, and light weight. This is the best combination of the three, which is why I have run in the Pure Cadence since the original model. Sadly, I hear that Brooks is discontinuing the Cadence, and that this is the last version. So, grab a pair now before they're gone...and see if you like them as much as I do.

This is a great shoe for men with overpronation. I went to the Brooks website and this shoe was recommended for me. Some people have said they’re too tight with socks. You don’t need socks. These shoes fit like a glove.

I've been running in Pure Cadence since version 3, and it's the best combination of what I'm looking for in a running shoe...lightweight, with some stability, and a low heel to toe drop. If you've run in past versions of the shoe, this one corrects the biggest flaw of the last couple of versions...the awful, no good, terrible stretch laces. They were hard to tie and keep tied...but this shoe has regular laces again. Thank you, Brooks.

It’s Brooks, and if you have purchased the Pure Cadence line before, you won’t be disappointed. Great running shoe that incorporates support and a minimalist profile.

Great looking style, but the top of the shoe (right below the bottom of the laces) was just too tight in the D width I purchased, despite it being my usual width. Loved the shoe otherwise!

Shoes fit like a glove, are lightweight, and have a nice look. But, couple of issues. For me they sit too low near the ankles, thereby losing support. Also, just not enough correction like past Brook models I've purchased. Bottom line, my ankle hurts, ALOT, and the shoes are hardly worn out. Wouldn't purchase again.

I like the light weight of the shoe, but more of a neutral shoe than support. My ankles roll especially when turning. Would not buy again.
