I’ve worn the Ravenna several years and picked these up on clearance. For some reason I didn’t get the 8, but have the Ravenna 7 and this model is much more lightweight and streamlined.

The material felt great. The fit was just a little narrow for me, they were very comfortable other than that. I need a 2EE, rather than the D. Nice cushion on the bottom.

Great shoes! After taking the Brooks fit test, the Ravenna was recommended for my style of running. This is my 2nd pair and I will definitely continue with them.

These Ravenna 9 sneakers fit true to size. These sneakers are the most comfortable Ravenna sneakers that I have had to date. And I have worn this brand for years. I love the light weight of the sneaker and I also love the material used on the upper part of the sneaker. It is more pliable and softer than the material they had used previously. I get back from my walk and I do not want to take these sneakers off because they are so comfortable. I have recommended this speaker to a friend of mine Who is also a walker, and she loves these sneakers too.

They fit great! I was glad to find a colorful pair. My last pair of Ravenna’s were the hot pink & turquoise. They have been the best shoes. Looking forward to putting some miles on these!

Way back when I bought the Revenna 6's and they were NOT comfortable. They felt boxy and heavy and I basically felt like Herman Munster running in them. I stayed away from the Ravenna's all together after that. Then I was reading the reviews on the 9's and they seemed pretty positive so I decided to give them another try. VERY SATISFIED! They obviously listened (finally) to all the complaints. The shoe is lighter and fits like a slipper! I bought the navy ones and I love them. No breaking in necessary. They fit true to size too!

Fit well, very comfortable and supportive for running.

I got the navy w teal trim and rather like the look of them, although all the color combinations are a little flamboyant for my (semi-elderly) taste. These are great shoes - light, comfortable, supportive, and the wide width fits my very wide, short-toed, high-arched foot perfectly. (I redo the laces so they're easier on my arch. That's a tip I got from an athletic shoe expert and it's a good one - you can look up alternate lacing patterns online.) I also performed a kind of experiment with these. The day after they came out of the box, I hiked the identical route (7 miles) that I'd done the week before in my old, worn Ravennas, which were starting to break down. The new shoes made an enormous difference in how I felt all over. So - it's not just shoe-industry propaganda - new walking shoes really are better.

Very supportive, reminds me of my old Brooks Ghosts that I loved. Cushions well, fits well.

It does not bind the foot. Great room in the toe box. Just comfort.

I love this shoe. It provides good support and stability, and it’s lightweight. I have worn the previous 3 Ravennas, and they all fit great. My feet are slightly narrow, and I order a size larger than usual. After a recent significant injury to several tendons in my foot, I can walk comfortably in this shoe. It’s perfect for physical therapy, exercise and just running errands.

I was recently looking for a good walking shoe prior to a trip with substantial walking. The salesman suggested Brooks, & this is the style I chose. I love them. My trip is over, & I found this shoe to be extremely comfortable from the first day I wore them. I also found them true to size, wearing a 10 as I usually do. Highly recommended!

I love Brooks. Very comfortable and stylish. I do, however, always have to order a half size bigger than I wear in other brands.

I have ran in Ravinas for over 10 years. This version by far is the best version.... I am 5’10 170 lbs. I run 4 miles every other day. I have some pronation. The cushion at the heel is amazing. I do have a more narrow foot.

I had tendinitis n needed new shoes, my podiatrist recommended your brand.. they are wonderful n comfortable.. the best shoe, my feet don’t hurt!!

I have a narrow foot and these shoes fit like a glove. The arch support is not as good as the Pure Flow 6 but hopefully it will be adequate. These shoes provide good stability and no break in time. I have worn them for walking and aerobics class. I am thinking of ordering a second pair since Brooks seem to change their shoes each year. I cannot count on this shoe feeling the same in future versions.

I love the feel of these. Super light on your feet.

If one is comparing the fit of the Ravenna 9 vs. the 8 and a few earlier versions, the 9 is more snug, but, for my foot, that is a good thing. For size, I was between an 8.5 and a 9 in the 8, and the 9 fits perfect. I love this version and plan to get many pairs in case the 10 is revised to more closely resemble the 8 and prior. The 9 is also the most comfortable version I have ever worn, and I've been wearing Ravenna's for over 5 years. I believe that the 9 is the lightest I've worn also. Excellent shoe!! Note that I'm a heavy walker and a light runner. For other Ravenna lovers, I would recommend possibly making an adjustment in size depending on how the 8 version felt. I.e., if the 8 was a little on the snug side or even fit perfectly, you may want to try a size larger in the 9 version. And, like my situation, if the 8 version was a little on the roomy side, you may want to stick with the same size for the Ravenna 9 and it should feel less roomy.

Light weight shoe. I originally ordered my size but was too tight so exchanged for half size larger. Very comfortable athletic shoe. Glad I purchased.

I first got the Ravenna 5 and really loved them so when they wore out I bought the Ravenna 9's and they are VERY similar. Only difference seems to be more webbing which makes me worry about longevity. The support feels good, though I'd like a little more in the arch as I tend to rock inward. I use for walking and short distance running. My biggest challenge is heel slippage and I don't notice that at all in these.

This is my second pair of Brooks, I bought them because I had previously been fitted for the Ravenna 8 last year. I run 2 to 3 times a week and wear a stability shoe. I really like the design of this year's edition, and overall I think that they are a nice improvement from the Ravenna 8. The laces are sufficiently long to double knot (not the case for the Ravenna 8) and the breathable fabric features vibrant colors. The fit was as expected and I would say that feel true to size.

Not as springy as I expected but still very comfortable.

Loved the look and support in these but were too small so sadly had to return. Have wide feet and need extra room in the toe box. Have worn Brooks many times in past but will have buy men’s to get a fit that works. Will likely go back to Nike wide. Thanks for super easy returns Zappos!!

The fit is great for my wide foot, and at first they were very comfortable, but then after a while of walking around I started to feel achy in my knees. I think I need more padding and arch support, so I think I need shoes for walking. My last several pairs have been Salomons, because they have a wide toe box and the comfortable, they don't make my knees hurt. These are a great shoe, just not right for my needs.
