I love the way they look but since I have been running in them, I am getting blisters. I can still use as a walking shoe.

When I first got the shoes I thought they were a bit tight because they were new. However after a weeks worth of wear they are still too tight for comfort. They feel too short and too narrow. The shoes gave me a really nice blister on my left heel so it has been difficult to find much comfort with the shoes. They are very handsome shoes and appear to be well made but I wish I had bought a larger size, but these were the size that was recommended to me.

This is a real light weight shoes in several ways. One, the weight; two, only someone very light could use these for a long run. Not for anyone over 180 pounds in my view. Real nice looking Bottoms are pretty good, but just not much there.

Unfortunately, I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the show. I purchased them two months ago and run approx. 15 mi/wk. The upper heel cushion has already curled up on both shoes, making it feel uneven and lacking support. I never have squeezed them on already laced up nor have I dug my heel in while slipping them on. This is my first (and likely last) Brooks purchase.

After Zappos handily processed my exchange (see my Saucony Kinvara 9 review), I was eager to receive my Launch 5s. I had LOVED and relied on the Launch 2s and 3s for years, and then Brooks went and seriously narrowed the toe box on the 4s. Wiggle room had been, for me, one of many appealing features of the earlier versions, and the 4s really bound up my toes.
Word on the street was that the fit of the 5s might be more similar to those older models that had been with me through so many years and miles. The moment I put them on, I knew it was true: "Reunited, and it feels so good!" All right, perhaps the latest toe box is somewhere between that of the narrow 4s and the spacious earlier versions, but I could live with this fit, and happily.
Imagine my chagrin when, with less than 50 miles on these practically new shoes, I saw the outer heel of the outsole was.....completely worn away!!!!! --I mean: the black GONE, just wiped right off. Yes, I know: that's a standard wear pattern for road runners--in fact, it's where my shoes always wear first. --But after a week's worth of mileage??? I was all the more annoyed with myself as I had read something about this major shortcoming in at least one review and just not taken it seriously enough, so much did I want the shoes to work out.
This, though, goes beyond a minor shortcoming and verges on a product defect.
IF YOU'RE A LONG-DISTANCE RUNNER, DO NOT GET THESE. If you want to walk around in them casually, they're quite comfortable and should suit your needs.

The right shoe is like totally different shoe feel wise. Roll's out at heel very uncomfortable. I would send them back but threw box away and have tried to make myself wear the shoe's, but I can't wear these

Overall, I was very disappointed with this purchase. I have been buying Brooks for years, and this has been the worst shoe from them to date. I'm an avid runner, often getting in 6-8 miles per day, and the average shoe lasts me 2-3 months. This shoe barely lasted 3 weeks.
