I run regularly and I have a wider foot with low arches. For years, I would only purchase the Asics Gel Kayano, because it gave excellent support and had a lot of room in the toe box. Unfortunately, they changed the sizing and features of the model, and they haven't been the same for the last few years. I needed a running shoe with good arch support and more room in the toe box. These actually had good cushioning and felt true to size, but didn't have quite as much arch support as I was looking for. They would probably be good for walking or being on your feet a lot, but wouldn't work for me for long runs. I returned them. Still on the hunt to find a decent replacement for my Gel Kayano 19s that are four years old now :-(

Love that this shoe comes in a solid black; wish it fit my foot better. Similar to other reviews, this shoe runs at least 1/2 size small. I reordered it in the larger size, and the arch support, which made my foot ache in the smaller shoe, did in the larger size as well. The toe box is not overly roomy, but adequate. Sadly, these did not work for me, though they may for someone who is looking for severe arch support in a specific area.

It was between these and the Saucony Redeemer ISO 2. I chose the Saucony. These brooks were not supportive enough and they were a bit too narrow in the toe. And then there was that famous Brooks heel slippage...always. At least for me.

I was disappointed in these, the cushioning felt off, and the toe box was too narrow, although I have found Brooks to be wildly inconsistent in that lately, with big differences between pairs in the same style, so it may have just been the pair I received. I did not find it supportive enough either, too much give. They were returned.

As soon as I put the shoe on I realized there was going to be an issue with it slipping off my heel. Also, I did not notice any extra support for the overpronation as described. Sadly I will be sending these back.

I really, really wanted to like these but they were just too short and little tight for a size 8 which is my normal sneaker sizer. The support was awesome and I didn't need to swap out the insole! Too bad it just didn't work out

Replacing my old Brooks, and the sizing has changed, unfortunately. Have to return these for a bigger size!

This is my 5th attempt at a Brooks shoe that has not compromised comfort since last year's models. The rim of the shoe is very tight and the support is quite flat and hard. This was not what I was looking for. Brooks even got cheap on the fabric and design. Too bad!

Made my feet roll outward.

I bought the Brooks Addison 13 as the 12 is no longer available. I needed something in black so I tried this one. Same size as the 13 but my toes hit the front of the sneaker and the heel is much lower so the heel slips up and down with every step.

From the viewpoint of someone healing from plantar fasciitis and ankle issues: I liked the way they fit on the top of the shoe but the seams on the tongue bothered the top of my foot. Although I need good support with my flat feet, they just were too rigid for me. I also felt they were lacking in cushioning.

I had the GTS13 and it was a perfect fit. This version is tighter in the toe box and also has less depth in the toe box. Sorry they need to go bac.

This was my 4th pair of Andrenaline GTS and I am so disappointed that they changed something in the design. The shoes felt great when I first put them on but a mile into my walk my toes went numb. I have not had this happen with my GTS 16 shoes that I am still wearing. I have to find another style.

I have worn Brooks Adrenaline for years. These have noticeably less padding in the forefoot. A shame to ruin what was my favorite shoe.

Unfortunately I had to return these because as other reviewers said there was not enough cushioning in the shoe. I have a problem fitting one foot and the GTS 17 was perfect. I really thought I had found a shoe I could count on. They were really nice looking.

I read some reviews which said the sizing wasn't right on this shoe, so I ordered my regular size, 8.5 D, plus a pair in 9 D. The 9s were too short. I've never worn a 9.5 in anything! So, something's off here. Otherwise, I liked the shoe a lot -- the mesh upper was comfortable and accommodated my wide forefoot. In my search for the perfect athletic shoe, so far New Balance is the only brand that has worked for me.

I had a pair of Ghost 6 that had much more support than these and far more cushioning. If you like a light shoe that feels the pavement these are for you, but if you need support or padding under the ball of your feet these don't have it. They do fit narrow feet in size narrow, though.

The look of the shoe was fantastic and the fit was fine everywhere except for the heel. I’ve worn a lot of Brooks in the same size without any issues, but these were just too wide in the heel and I could feel them slipping as I walked. Not sure why these are different and I was bummed to return them but they weren’t a good fit for me.

I really tried hard to make these shoes work, since they have such good arch support (hard to find!), but the sizing was just off, even after trying 3 different sizes. My usual size 9 was too scrunched at the toes, 9 1/2 didn't feel any bigger, and by the time I tried a size 10 the arch support hit in the wrong spot. I really wanted them to work since they have good padding and great arch support, but am sending them all back.

I wear 11.5 N sneakers, so the selection is slim (pun intended). I am walking 3 miles a day so my shoes are wearing out faster than I am used to. I use orthotic innersoles. I needed to replace a pair of ASICS Nimbus 20, but did not want to pay $150 again so soon, so looked for alternatives; these were on sale: Saucony Omni 16, Mizuno Wave Rider 21, and Brooks Adrenaline GTS 18. Out of the three, the Brooks fit and felt best in the house. It wasn't until I took a walk outside that I noticed how very stiff and unforgiving the sole of the Brooks is, especially compared to the ASICS. To me, it's akin to a hiking boot sole -- little give and no rebound. I realize that each shoe brand is different; now I know that Brooks' sole is hard and unless there's a wear-in period for the bottoms and things improve, I won't be buying Brooks again. I also prefer more overall cushioning in the interior of the upper; with a narrow foot, I like the upper to feel more snug.

I am so disappointed in the GTS 18. I am returning the pair I just bought. The toe box is not as wide and the shoe depth seems shallower. They lack the support of the 18’s and previous years. I hope the GTS 19’s are not more of the same or I will look for another shoe. My podiatrist recommended Brooks Adrenaline shoes, and I have been an extremely satisfied customer until now.

I have been a loyal Brooks Adrenaline-wearer for many years, this was probably my 20th or so pair. Unfortunately, this newer model will be my last. The good: no complaints with the level or support and they are very nice looking. BUT, they have one serious flaw. Brooks made the toe box smaller which painfully squeezes my toes, it's so bad that my toes were bloodied after a 5 mile run from my toenails digging into neighboring toes. I went to a running specialty store and the manager relayed that he has heard this complaint often.

These are terrible. Fell apart fast. I got compliments on them but they were uncomfortable to run in.

I would have said these were pretty comfortable, except the size. I'm a true 7.5 and most Brooks fit great in 7.5, but in this shoe my toes were jammed in there like I was stubbing my toes. Widthwise, my toes had plenty of room, but lengthwise it was a no-go.

Just got the Adrenaline GTS 18. I have been wearing the Ghost for years but decided to try the these for the extra stability, as I overpronate. I ordered my usual size, but was disappointed and frustrated to find that these shoes are significantly shorter - my toes were rubbing the end of the toe box. Back they go.
