I ordered this boot in both Ocean and Rioja. I've decided to keep both. It is a very comfortable boot, the leather is very nice quality- heavy without being stiff. The toe has plenty of room for your own toes to move around and lay flat. The arch is good. The colors are both very rich. The only downside to this boot is that it is very narrow at the ankle. It is a little difficult to pull on and once on, it fits snug to the ankle. Maybe both of these issues would be resolved as the boot ages and the leather stretches. Regardless, they fit me well because I have smaller ankles. The style is simple, which appeals to me. If your ankles are even slightly larger than average, I don't know if you could wear these without them cutting in and being uncomfortable. I have a feeling these boots will wear for a very long time!

These are incredibly comfortable and have a fun, unique look compared to many Chelsea boots on the market. Their styling and outsole do make them more casual. Chelsea-style boots are typically too wide for my skinny ankle and heel, but these fit very well due to the elastic panels. They have lots of room in the toe box for comfort without being too wide in the foot overall. The toe does turn up some, and the black does look a bit like a scuba bootie, but I'm okay with that. They have a trim, fun look and look great with skinny jeans or straight leg pants, with pants cuffed or uncuffed. The leather is supple and high-quality, the sole durable and comfortable, and they're very well-made. I wear a 7 to 7.5 and the 7.5 fit well.

These little boots are very practical and very comfortable. The perfect shoe for my walks to the train and city, without always wearing sneakers.

I am obsessed with this bootie. I bought these for work (I work at a school) because they looked comfortable, warm enough for Colorado winters, simple, and like they would go with a lot of outfits. I was right on all counts. They've actually exceeded my expectations because I expected them to be so simple that they wouldn't catch anyone's attention. Not the case! I get compliments DAILY in these with people asking me what brand and where they can buy them. They look high end and outdoorsy at the same time which I love. Other reviewers said they are narrow at the ankle, which I guess is true, but I think that's important in a Chelsea style boot, otherwise, they would stretch out and look less streamlined. I don't have any trouble slipping these on and off with a sock. For reference, I am normally a size 6.5 in heels, flats, sandals, but I always size up to a 7 in sneakers and boots for a little room for socks and size variation. These fit great, with enough space for my toes to wiggle, enough support on my feet all day, and no chance of slipping on ice! I bought in black originally and I am now back to purchase in blue!

Very cute shoes! I have very wide feet, abnormally high arches, and thin ankles/heels. These shoes are leather upper, so the tight-ish areas (for me, the tips & balls of my feet & outer toes) should stretch to fit. I followed previous reviewers' advice & went up a half size. I'm normally a 38W, ordered a 39, but would most likely have been fine with a 38W, had they offered these in wide. They're quite snug at the ankles, which I like. If you don't have thin ankles/heels, I wouldn't recommend these. My very high arches don't even touch the insole. Once these break in a bit, I'll insert some high-arch insoles. If you have flat or normal arches, I'm sure these would work out for you. The soles are stable--one ankle has a tendency to roll, and the soles feel stable. There's also a decent amount of flex--so if you're climbing ladders or on lots of uneven surfaces, you'll most likely have a good bit of reactionary ability, and walking freedom. I've tried about 8 times to submit this review via cellphone, to no avail, so sorry, no pics. Plenty of up-down toe wiggle room.

This brand is the perfect match for me, style, and rugged quality. This is my 3rd pair of El's and I cannot get enough. People literally stop me to ask what I am wearing, and, they just might outlive me! I refuse to wear shoes or boots that are not 100% comfortable and great looking and El Nat's fit the bill. Make more styles,,,,pleeeeze.

The shoes were beautiful and well made. They were quite snug and impossible to pull on. The loop on back to help tug them on was tiny as useless. Once on they looked a bit like scuba booties. I returned them because of the look while in my feet and the difficulty to get them on.

Too tight around the ankle for me, sadly had to return. I don’t have big legs or ankles, but apparently too big for this style!
