LOVE these! Super soft, no breaking them in. Got tons of compliments the first day I wore them. I’m 50 and wore Docs in the 80’s, decided it was time for a new pair! A 74 year old friends Mom said she loved them and is getting herself a pair! Timeless!

These are my favorite and I've worn them almost every day since I got them. They're incredibly comfortable, and I have awful feet (multiple surgeries, bunions) that are a D width. Usually I take a US 8.5-9 in standard shoes, but in these I had to get a US8/UK6 due to length. They're plenty wide. The leather is softer than regular Docs, and these had no break-in period, just comfortable right out of the box. Plaid lining looks good. I love these boots so much.

Very cute and comfortable. Haven't worn them for very long, but so far they are comfortable in the lab where I do my research and also seem okay in the summer (maybe not as breathable with woolen socks, but that is to be expected). The sizing seems good--I am usually a US 8.5 or a 9, so the size 8 fits perfectly. These also seem to fit better than the unisex Docs for me.

True love. I have had to break in my share of Docs but these are wear ready. Fit true to size and super comfy straight out the box. Highly recommend. The second style is really cute too! Theres a groove to fold and a loop on the back. The material is so soft. Love!!

Got them for my 13 year old daughter, she absolutely loves them. Reminds me of my grunge phase lol.

I love everything about these boots. I usually wear an 8.5 but the 8 fit perfectly with enough toe room. They are comfortable, cute and durable. I didn’t have to break them in much, which I’ve heard is a must with Dr. Martens. I will be saving up to get them in other colors! Also, Zappos was the ONLY carrier for this specific boot style and color. They have the widest selection of Dr. Martens I’ve seen. Five stars Zappos :).

I remember Docs, back in the day (90's) being shoes needing break-in periods, where they'd be stiff, rub against the ankle and so on. I am pleased to say that these boots had no such requirement. I put them on and am perfectly comfy, in the office and on the streets of San Francisco. They are a bit heavy, but other than that, extremely comfortable and cute. Thrilled I decided to try Docs again.

Great boots! I love how you can fold them down. I also love how they're taller than the regular Dr Martens boots. They feel true to size, and have the toe cap which makes them roomy in the toe area. Just buy them.

These are some of the nicest Dr. Marten boots I have purchased. I love Docs. The leather is buttery and pebbled. Comes with a fancy pair of ribbon laces. If you like the badass look, these are for you

These are great Doc Martens! I bought these in cherry red because I thought they were cute and unique. Plus, they were awesome to wear to a 90s themed party. I normally wear a 6.5, and I bought the US equivilant to a size 6 which is a UK4. They fit great and still had plenty of room in the toe. There was no break in time which was really nice, and I was worried about. The leather is really soft. I wish it had more arch support and a more cushioned sole, but those aren't deal breakers for me. I have a naturally high arch anyway, and they were still really comfortable. I like how you can wear them completely tied up or have the extra portion flipped down. These will definitely be getting a lot of wear in the fall and winter months.

I really, reeeely wanted these boots. I wear orthotics and sometimes have to order a half size larger, so I did. They were too big all around. Exchanged them for my regular size, and the fit was great EXCEPT the heel was just too wide. I was going to get blisters if I wore them. I was really disappointed. I wanted them for a cold weather trip to Europe in a few weeks. I can’t remember ever having a pair of shoes / boots that the heel was too wide.

Great boot!! Super versatile. The color is amazing! They are a little heavy but still very comfortable.

The boots were wider and longer than expected. The width was a bonus but the length is excessive. I did like that they needed very little breaking in. Overall I'm pleased.

I usually wear a 7.5-8 but bought a 7 based on reviews. Fit was perfect. Leather is beautiful and soft. Very little break in time required. I highly recommend. The grizzly red can be worn with black and brown. I love that I can switch the laces from ribbon to traditional.

I love this boot but they slip a little on my heels and create hot spots. I will try a different pair of socks to see if that helps. The style is great. I bought the Cherry Red and love the color. The only other downside is that they do not have a zipper to get them on and off easily but I could not find another pair out there like this that had a zipper. I usually wear a size 9.5 but bought the size 9 at the suggestion of a salesperson in the Doc Martin store. The 9 fits perfectly. love Zappos. They came in a day.

I used to wear docs back when they were made in the UK. Quit when they shipped the factory to China.. quality went down. These boots are proof they've finally fixed those issues. They have a great fit, the leather is so soft..and the boot itself is extremely comfortable. There was a short break-in period..but it was nowhere as bad as the original leather boots! They are lightweight enough to walk all day in. They fit chunky calves great.. I'm a plump commuter cyclist with 19 inch calves and they lace up very nicely on me. No gaps, amazing. It is so hard to find decent boots that fit!!! They come with regular and ribbon laces, the regular laces are very long, long enough to hit every hole and still tie nicely. The ribbon laces are just a bit too short for that. If you tie oxford style they won't come untied though. Wish the laces were black out of the box, felt odd wearing red laces in docs. They are warm enough to serve as winter boots, but they probably won't keep feet dry in a lot of snow, they soaked up the waterproofer I used like nothing. (It's a pine pitch/beeswax one in a blue and white tin). The fabric/wool lining is soft enough. The fit is loose enough for boot socks but the fit is comfortable enough for regular socks. I have high arches, there really isn't support for them but the boots are still comfortable without it. Insoles seem to be removable. Seriously love these boots. Would love to get them in black, when finances allow, and if they can actually keep them in stock. I wear them with skinny jeans, skirts (long/short) or leggings.

These are, without a doubt, the most comfortable Docs straight out of the box I've ever worn. The leather is soft and pliable and smells good too. I'm a consistent size 8 and these run true to size for me. My feet are on the borderline of medium and wide width and these fit perfectly without squeezing my toes. I feel like they were custom made to fit me. I like the factory set of laces and the ribbon ones are cute, but I doubt I'll use them. The only thing I wish these had were thicker soles and slightly deeper tread, but they are still great as is. I would buy a pair of these boots in every color if I could afford it! Highly recommend!

I consistently wear a size 8 and an 8 (uk 6) in these is perfect. I have medium/wide-ish feet and these are the perfect width too. I would buy a pair in every color if I could afford them! Highly recommend!

I bought these because the 1460 looked like clown boots with the wide toe area. These are definitely built for a female foot. The leather is super soft and pliable and took no time breaking them in. I love the plaid lining too. I'm a true size 8 so that's the size I purchased and I have enough room to wear thick socks if it's stupid cold out; I live in upstate MY where the weather is so bipolar. Love these so much!!

My first pair of Doc Martens! I chose this particular style because many of the reviews described them to be softer out of the box than the original, and I was so pleased! The plaid lining is super cool and adds a nice option of folding the sides down for a different look. I wear an 8 1/2, and since they don't have half sizes, considered myself a 9 and got their euro size 7. They are a tiny bit too large with some slip in the heel, but there is a lot of play with the laces and once I get thicker socks, I feel they will be perfect! Some reviews claimed the fit tends to be narrow, but I didn't find that to be true at all. The only negative is now I have to put them back in the box and wait until Christmas!

OMG this is my first pair of Doc Martens- I love the look and feel of them. I did put a foot support pad in them just for more comfort. They look cool and feel good.

Loved these boots. The leather is insanely soft and as soon as you take them out of the box you can tell they are a quality product. I have a wide foot and these were extremely comfortable. I had ordered these along with a few other pairs of boots in search of the “best” pair, and came super close to keeping these also. I ultimately returned them because the “best” pair from that order had black stitching, whereas these have contrast stitching, which I thought made them look slightly more casual. I will say that these might have been a touch more comfortable than the pair I kept; there was not of that usually rigidity that you tend do get with a new pair of Docs. One of the nicest pairs of boots I’ve ever tried on; may re-order someday when I can justify owning more than one pair of $100 combat boots.

Love, love, LOVE these boots! No break-in time required. Wore them today for the first time and have received multiple compliments on them. They are so comfy and practical, they are sure to be my new favorites!

I love these boots. There was no break in time and I was able to put them on and wear with no issues. This is rare for me. I measured my foot in centimeters and then looked at the sizing guide to find the correct size after having a complete fail ordering another pair of dr. Martens.
