nice looking shoe. the sole is stiff as a board and will not bend. When walking the heel will not stay on because of that. Pliners no longer made in Italy and that is quite evident!!

I was really looking forward to adding these to my shoe wardrobe. Beautiful shoe but....I wear an 8.5 AA. These were not a true narrow and were floppy on my feet. The shoebox was shipped in a plastic mailing bag and was pretty beat up when it arrived.

Love this shoe. Have been looking for a modern loafer forever, but this was also way too narrow for me. Very sad. My favorite loafer ever was a Pliner that I bought 20 years ago (!), but most of their lasts have gotten too narrow for me.

This is a great, modern take on the loafer. Heartbreaking that it did not fit -- simply too narrow. The length was good so a larger size unfortunately would not have worked. My foot is not mega wide, but probably a touch wider than average. Kind of a Fred Flintstone foot (no good for a narrow shoe!). Bummer - really like the look of this shoe.

Seems to run a tad on the large side.

I love this shoe so much I bought two different colors. The rubber platform sole is keeping me out of wet puddles outside. I feel these can be worn with work pants suit or jeans for fun.

I wanted to like these, but it bended in the wrong place on my big toe joint. Super cute. Great for people whose feet are the exact same size. One of my feet is a 1/2 size larger than the other, so one shoe fits well and one flops out with each step. You can get away with the discrepancy with some shoes, but not these.

I am a size 9 but after I read the reviews I ordered half a size smaller which worked out very well. I like the wedge that gives me an effortless height. Looks and feels Great!

Liked the look but the heel was not narrow enough for me. I'm a pretty true size 7 2A.

This is a lovely shoe. Beautiful black patent with a more stylish sole than the typical lug sole. However, the heel kept slipping on the right shoe. The left shoe felt a little big but it was the right heel made my foot slip out of the shoe. I ordered the narrow width which was perfect but I just don’t think a 7 1/2 will do the trick because the front of the shoe fit well but the heels were another story.

My heel slipped in this shoe. I like the design, but it's very clunky.

The Elen in python print is a beautiful statement shoe. I ordered a 9M, my standard size, but my heel slipped out even using thick socks. As the toe box felt tight in the 9 I don’t think sizing down will work. I have never encountered both issues in one shoe - perhaps Donald Pliner is not a good fit for my feet.

I liked the style but had to return them because they were just too wide around the top part of foot. Length was fine. I think the next size down would be too small because I tried an insert, but then the shoe felt too tight and uncomfortable in the length. I've always had an average medium foot, so I'm surprised that Pliner shoes are now to wide for me. The last few times I've purchased Donald Pliner shoes I've run into this issue and had to return them. Bummer because I really like the styles.

Very stiff with no give. I have two other similar styles that I love. Very disappointed.
