Great looking coat- fits very big. Size down

Yikes. This seems like a very functional, well-made jacket...but hoo boy, is it ever unflattering! I'm usually a medium in jackets/coats (athletic build) and tried both a small and a medium, based on the cut. The small was too narrow in the shoulders and a tad wide in the hips. The medium was ridiculous. It fit in the shoulders but flared out so much on the bottom that I looked like a giant yellow bell (according to my kids). If you purely need something to keep you dry, seems like it'd do the trick. But if I'm spending this much money, I'd like a little style to go with my substance.

I love this jacket! It is definitely waterproof! And chic! If another color goes on sale, I'll buy it! I could fit the medium but chose large so I have room to add a sweatshirt/sweater. Also, the sleeves are a bit long for me but it's a not a deal-breaker, I just roll them up (which also looks cute!)

Great jacket absolutely love it!!!Fits great and looks very stylish.Cant wait to wear it.It is roomy enough to wear a thick sweater underneath and doesn’t look big if you don’t.Best jacket I ever owned highly recommend.Plus love the red zipper.
