Everyday use. Love the look, love the fit. But the rear end splits out!

Traditional fit wrangler, no complaint there. The Crofton color seems to be darker than picture and the whisker pattern around crouch is more prominent than I'd like.

I purchased these at my local western ware shop because I have been wearing the competitions 527 jean for years. I love that jean; probably is, no where withing reasonable distance sells them and I don't like buying clothing online usually. I found these while searching for alternatives. They far surpass the 527 in my opinion. One of the best features is that the small waist sizes (I wear a 30) still have two belt loops on the backside which eliminates weird fitment issues when wearing a belt, something that always bothered me in the past. This addition alone has me sold on Wrangler jeans. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is due to the leather patch on the back pocket. It's too much, I don't like "Hey look what brand I'm wearing" tags, patches or logos on anything I wear. Luckily I have a seem ripper and took it off as soon as I got home. I will do the same with every other pair I buy. I may be the minority but moving the tag up under the belt, or removing it completely would be awesome! I am definitely buying 1-2 more pairs of this exact jean and possibly others as well.

I normally wear a 33x32. I ordered a 31x32 based on material in jeans and wow they fit nicely. Wish the wash was not as wisked and just left to the natural material color. I love the fit and feel of these jeans.

Great jeans. Only pair of Wrangler jeans in my 37 years of existence that fit properly. No sag in the prosterior after an hour of wearing. Decent for riding horses too.

I wear them..my fav jeans at the moment ..but I was just wondering , because they come in different colors . why are they not exactly the same style in each color . I like the pocket design of the first style and noticed that the other colors did not have that same style...why is that ? It also make me concerned of buying the other colors .. The fit and look may also not be the same . What's up with that ?

My husband wears Wrangler Prorodeo jeans everyday. I like the new retro look. I'm tired of the same jean everyday and these are a little more trendy but still Wrangler. I wish they weren't so expensive

I think the price of the jeans were way over priced. I only bought them for my son for Christmas because he picked them out. I would not have paid that price for jeans

I have purchased 5 pairs of the Wangler Retro jeans 77MWZRE and have been very happy with the fit, style, & color. I wear these jeans for work and I have set 1 of the 5 pair aside to wear when going out on the weekends. I am only giving 4 stars because I can not find this style anymore. The local western stores do not have them in stock and more and the style number doesn't seem to be available online either. I have tried ordering other colors of the 77MWZR style but have not been happy with any of them so I continue to return them. The fabric used on this style of jean is very comfortable vs. the 100% stiff cotton style. I wish Wrangler would bring the 77MWZRE style/color back in a size 34/38 so that I could purchase more.

Fit is great, so will continue to buy them. Belt loops tear off easily and the fabric wears out in about 6 months.

I love these jeans and they fit me perfectly. I only buy them and go through two or three pairs a year. I sacrifice the longevity for the fit and style. Biggest problem is they wear very quickly and that's been corroborated in other reviews. For me its usually a back pocket, belt loop, but mostly the knees. Once there's a hole in the knee its usually one tight bend and they rip right across to the seams. Then they become my yard work jeans and its too bad I have more yard work jeans than good ones. I'd happily trade in five ripped jeans for one good pair. You gotta be careful complaining about something you really like though ............

Great Fit-Great Feel, just don't last. Had a worn thru hole after first wash, patched that.
Belt loop came off within first six months, fixed that. Small tear in seat a couple of months later, fixed that. Whole rear seat tore out, can't fix no more.
Really great fit and feel but they just don't last the test of time.

My comments are in response to the previous post. Josh's comments are spot-on. I too, have a pair of the Laytons and they were perfect. Based on that, I ordered two other color variations and had to send them both back as they did not fit like the laytons and didn't even fit consistent with each other.
Also, there is nothing "slim" about these jeans. I am a thin dude (6'0 - 145lbs soaking wet) and they leave me with plenty of "room".
The Silver Label jeans that they sell fit much more consistent with what I would expect being labeled as Slim. They however, do not come in a boot cut.
Other than that, good jeans and Wrangler doesn't appear to have succumbed to the external pressure to only make jeans that will appeal to younger generations;-) (said with all due respect)

Great jeans have had them for 4 years till the seat of them ripped out. Wore them a ton so no complaints. I'm 6'10 so jeans are difficult. These were very long and stylish

After a few washings the Wrangler tag on the back pocket becomes brittle and breaks away in pieces.
Other than that, they fit and wear very well.

I realized what I was purchasing as I had seen in store. I did not make an in store purchase because the color I wanted was not in stock at the time. I ordered these and man was I surprised when I slipped them on the first time. The waist was way smaller than I had anticipated. I gauged my size from other Wranglers that are in my closet. Two different models of 20X both of which 33X38 are perfect fit. I could probably wear the 77 in a 34 or possibly a 35! I washed them in cold water and air dried them which is standard practice for all of my jeans. Do these typically run small in the waist?

These jeans are comfortable and stylish without being too over the top fancy. They aren't as durable/tough as the 13MWZ's and they are more expensive, but I prefer the style. Too bad they are so expensive, or I'd buy a bunch more!

These jeans fit decent. They run a little large in the waist. I ordered 32X38 and 33X38. I usually wear a 34 waist in other brands, but only the 32's fit in these. There was ONLY ONE COLOR CHOICE with is unfortunate. I would like a darker, more modern color. Quite expensive for Wranglers.

They arent what I call slim fit in comparison to the 935 jeans I wear as well, the lower rise is nice and more modern than the classic 935 boot cuts, personally being a tall and slim guy, these jeans fit rather loosely and also run a little large and a little short with my boots and waist. Overall good jeans though. The coloring is unique and the denim is nicely broken in right out of the bag

I like these jeans because they are more appropriate for weekend casual wear than your other work jeans.

For my body type, these jeans are an excellent fit, which is rare for me. I selected the 'worn' color based on the three photo angles displayed for this item on the website. The photos did not show any stylized distressed creases, but the jeans I received had a pair of creases - one each below the front pockets. They closely resemble pleats, which I do not care for. Wrangler needs to indicate that the jeans will have marks on them, or show a photo of a possible garment with these types of stylized marks.

Great look and feel. Fit is all but perfect with the exception to the inseam length. I ordered a 36" length and it feels short compared to every other pair of 36" jeans I've ever owned. I may try and size up but if that doesn't work it may prevent me from purchasing again...because of my height, length is really important to me.

I bought 3 pairs of these jeans. I like them except on all 3 pairs the back seam on back pockets ripped on all 3 after about 2 weeks.
