I am 74 y.o. and have a pair of Whispers that I have been wearing for the past 10 plus years that is still in good shape. I have worn my Whispers on several cruises, beach vacations and even to Australia and New Zealand. My new Retro x Smokey Bear feel just as comfortable as the old but with more support. I have recommended this shoe to other friends. My husband does not like the style but at my age, comfort is more important.

These are great shoes!

I had never tried a style like this, but I was looking for a sole that would make my foot feel secure, and this definitely provides that. After getting used to wearing them I forget I have them on. The Smoky Bear pattern is cheerful, too. I will definitely consider more Keen footwear.

As soon as I saw sandals w/Smokey Bear, I knew I had to grab my 1st pair of Keens! Fit true to size with ample room in the toe box. I have a high arch and I would say the sandal has a moderate arch. Great grip and all day comfort. A win win in my book!

Comfortable footbed. Looks great for hiking, beach, and summer parties. It did take a while to get the straps adjusted so my little toe was not being pinched or rubbed. Now just my comfortable go to summer shoe.

Fit is much smaller at least 1/2 size. Footbed also different and not in a great way. Very disappointed

They fit perfect!

They are thick soled and slip on easily. Very comfortable.

Both shoes rubbed blisters on the toe next to the pinky toe. Theyre so comfortable to walk in but I cant for very long before they hurt my toes again.

I love my Keens! They are versatile in any terrain from water sports to day hikes

The strap across the arch rubbed a bit on first wear, but is fine now. Newport continues to be the most comfortable of all the Keen shoes I have. Perfect when I want a somewhat closed in shoe, versus Birkenstocks. I like that it fits a bit wide in the toe box.

I bought these to hike Arizona and they were perfect! Now they are my daily choice of shoe!

Love the shoes! Perfect for kayaking and walking in rocky or mucky waters. Comfortable and good grippy soles. Will definitely purchase again!

Really comfortable and nice shoes!

I bought these sandals in the same size as my previous Keen sandals, which are basically the same sandal. These shoes are too tight and too uncomfortable to wear. I love Keen shoes, but it would be nice if their sizes were stable. I won't buy this brand of shoes online anymore because of the size discrepancy whenever I buy shoes from them. Sometimes they fit and sometimes they don't.

Unfortunately, breaking these in gave me nerve pain in the side of my foot. Never had any issues with my feet until now and this seems to aggravate a nerve despite taking time to break them in. Id wear them all day every day if I could if it werent for this issue. Overall I think this might be a manufacturing glitch with the one shoe now that Ive worn them over a longer period of time. They are impossible to get on unt you break them in. Had to devise a method to push toes in, then pull the back around my heel. Not a convenient slip on until fully broken in. And of course your feet do get a bit sweaty in these if worn all day, which happens with any sandal. Love everything else.
