When I pulled the cords to make it fit the width of my foot, the fabric bunched up so much it pleated at least a half inch. Way too wide, and I normally wear a B or sometimes narrow width.

As a previous owner of 3 pairs of Keens, I wanted to like these cute Keen for my future 2 week trip to Eastern Europe, so I went walking in them sockless because I've never had to wear socks with my previous Keen. Also, because of the "sock" on these Keen I wanted to break them in because some reviews stated that the "sock" was tight around the ankles. Well the sock around the ankles was fine, but during my 5 mile walk I could feel pain on my toes and on my bunions. I developed blisters on my toes; the toes that are next to my pinkie (the 3rd and 4th toes) plus the shoe fabric that surrounded my bunions rubbed on my bunions and they became red and blistered. I haven't walked for three days as I wait for the blisters to heal. In the past, I didn't break-in my previous Keens; I just packed them and wore them as we walked miles everyday in the Amalfi Coast and on a different trip through Greece. So, I'm very disappointed with these Keens. The plus side is that my true size is 9.5 but I needed a 10 and the 10 doesn't look big. In fact they look smaller than the 9.5's I currently own. I think the rubber tip on the shoes is not as large as on other Keens, and that makes the shoes look smaller in size. There is also good cushion on the shoes. So I'm disappointed that I won't be wearing Keens on this trip, but I'm so grateful that I listened to that inner voice that whispered "Try walking with the shoes, first." I can't begin to imagine having to buy shoes in Berlin or in Poland because of blisters.

Wanted these for a beach trip and at first putting them on, they were comfy. The band around the ankle (the sock portion) is really tight and didn't seem to stretch. But felt good on the foot, more secure than other sneaker/sandals. However, after wearing them once, the heel disintegrated. It cracked open like it had been baking in the sun and began to fall apart. Zappos thankfully returned them and gave me my money back (thank goodness for Zappos, honestly). I read another reviewer that had the same issue. This must have been a bad batch. Keens are usually way better quality, and this shoe didn't live up.

I am returning the shoes. Unfortunately they are at least 1/2 inch too short. I compared them to my three other pairs of Keens and these ran anywhere from 1/2 - 3/4 inch smaller (I measured the sole). Too bad, they look nice! However at a size 11 women's show ... there is not a longer size!

Way smaller than other Keens I have purchased. Cannot return because damaged package arrived without any shipping slip.
