The leather was really soft and I like the simple style, but these just hit my big toe bunion (and it's not a big one) wrong.

The leather here is a thick, sturdy leather that probably breaks in nicely. I am returning them because I can feel under my heel where the leather goes underneath the sole so that the straps adjoin. I suspect I have sensitive feet. Also the tread is a black rubber, not particularly attractive, but unlikely it would be seen. I am returning them. I could tell immediately that they would be uncomfortable.

With the Jerusalem sandals I have found that wetting them and then wearing them for about an hour around the house makes them conform to my feet. After that they are very comfortable. They are a great quality sandal at a reasonable price. Thanks Zappos for carrying a large selection. I have three pair and wear them all summer. I am planning to purchase more for our vacation to Hawaii this year.

Loved the sandals. My foot is too wide for the strap. :(

Beautiful shoes! Length was fine, but were narrow. Will reorder same brand but without strap across foot bed.

This looks like a man's shoe and the sole was just flat.

It's very nice design but the leather is very hard and the strap damaged my foot's skin after walking for just 10min. ? would not recommend this sandals, its very uncomfortable.

nice looking plain and basic sandal, however, has an odd bump across the ball of the foot.

Runs small, very uncomfortable.
