I've purchased these for my son to go with his school uniform for the past two years and intend to buy another for this year. My son is very athletic and says these are comfortable even running around at recess. They've held up very well and still look nice enough to wear to church. I wish his feet weren't growing so quickly or I'm sure they'd last another year!

Very plain design, classic and well made. Wanted brown instead of black available.

My son had GEOs before this which fell apart in 2 months. He loves these and he is quite finky about shoes as he feet are wide and most fit to tight.

These arrived scratched all over so I ordered another pair. The second pair was a bit better but also looked like someone had scratched it all over. Plus second pair looked extremely wide for a medium. I have other Hush Puppies shoes for my son so not sure what is going on here. I can only imagine that once a child would wear these once they would look terrible because they come pre-scratched up and must scratch easy.

My son has wide feet, and has use same stride rite shoes for school the past 6 years. This year his big kid size 7 was not available after lot of searches. We got Hush-Puppies and my son has no complains. We are very happy with the purchase.

Comfortable, light and easy to wear , true to size and width

Material is great

The fit and size are great. I have a hard time finding shoes for my son because he has a really wide feet. When he put them on he said they were really comfy and soft on the inside. So far they’ve held up just fine. The only thing is, I thought they were all leather. It seems like the only part that is leather is the strip around the front by the toes. The rest fees like pleather. Either way, he likes them and they feel good. And since he has to wear them everyday I’m fine with it.

My son has a problem wearing most shoes because he is very active and needs a supportive sole. These shoes provide that support and comfort he needs to move around.

Love these shoes so much for my son that I am ordering another pair for this school year. They lasted an entire school year for a 6 year old and are in great shape. They are very durable and look very nice and great quality.

The fit was good, the material/quality good, the style looked great. The sole was a little stiff at first but seemed to loosen with a little bending. But for my son the deal-breaker (with this and the other similar Hush Puppies shoes) was the oval pad in the heel of the foot bed. I know it's there to provide extra shock-absorption, but he just felt it sticking up so much that he rejected them. We ended up keeping an Ahannie brand shoe. I think you should still give these Hush Puppies a try and see if your son doesn't mind the bump! At least I was so happy these come in wide width and would be a more comfortable shoe than a dress shoe to wear with a suit to a wedding.
