My son is very happy with the shoes. These are for school and he plays soccer during recess and they have survived the first two weeks. I will definitely buy them again for next school year. They are made of good quality.

Grandson loves these shoes; they are well cushioned with nice arch supports. He says he could wear them all day long - just as comfortable as a sneaker.

This is a well built shoe with a nicely cushioned insole. They also appear to have good arch support. The leather looks like it will polish up well, should they get scuffed. They are dressier looking in person. I purchased a couple of styles and brands for my 4 year old grandson to try. He picked the Hush Puppies because they were the most comfortable. They fit his Little Kid size 10.5 W foot very well - wide enough in the toe box and narrow enough in the heel to prevent slippage. He's very picky and he didn't want to take them off. That's always a good sign!

Not as durable as you'd hope. Our son has been wearing these a couple of times a week since September and the top shoelace eye-holes are almost completely ripped open from the shoelaces cutting through. They should have been reinforced but are just simple cut holes in the leather. The leather does still look nice and we like that it can take a lot of scuffs, but the tread has worn more than other Hush Puppies. We will go back to the Velcro strap Hush Puppies.

My son has worn these as school shoes for the past 6 months and the quality is very poor. Leather is already peeling and cracking.
Not good for everyday wear.
