These are lovely boots, with a comfy heel height and comfortable. Unfortunately, the toe is much more pointy than I like... I guess you would say that it is truly an almond toe, so just be aware of this. I am not so keen on pointy toes as it is a "dressier look" than I am seeking. There was a pair of A.P.C. (french brand with lovely styles) boots a few years ago that I loved...but were more than $500...and I have always been watching for a lower priced match. These are very close...except for the pointy toe. Wish they had a more round, casual toe....

I tried to make these boots work but Dolce Vita seems to be a brand I can't wear, at least in booties. I fall right between a 10 and an 11 and they don't make a 10.5. I ordered the 11 at first because Dolce Vita boots have run small for me in every style I've tried, but the 11 was just too big (in both the anthracite and the black nubuck). I then ordered the 10 in the anthracite color only and it was just too small. For reference I'm a pretty solid US 10, Euro 41. In addition, the anthracite suede is quite nice, while the black nubuck is not as nice. It's really a bummer because these are so cute. At least I found a pair similar to these in the Matisse "Flash" style, which I actually like a little better, even though they're more expensive, even on sale. In those the 10 fit me perfectly.

This boot is extremely narrow. I ordered a 1/2 size larger but I should've ordered 1 1/2 sizes larger. Not impressed by the quality of the shoe either. These are going back

Great boot and perfect heel height for all day wear. Runs narrow and a 1/2 size small. Other boots by Dolce Vita run true to size.

Comfortable, true to size. Quality much better in person than in pictures.
