I don't like the changes made to the front zipper compartment. If you have arthritic fingers, it is very difficult to remove credit cards as the zipper does not go all the way around like on the older styles.

I've owned several Little Hipsters and loved them all. The organization, size and wallet are big pluses for me, but this latest version falls short. While I don't care for the metal zipper I don't mind it as much as I mind the shorter opening of the wallet portion. The bottom of the purse is not as stiff causing the bottom to sag a bit if I add something heavy. I especially miss the magnetic closure on the outside side pocket. I have lost many items from that pocket when my purse tipped over, the latest being a small notebook with several numbers I needed. I still love the Little Hipster, but I don't love the new version as much as I love the old.

I purchased this in early October. With in a week one of the leather pulls fell off. I returned it a few days later no questions asked and received a replacement, only to have the same issue two days later. I love the style and size but there is a quality issue. I had never even used the pocket where the second tap fell off. At another store and clerk and I just watched it fall off Go back to your signature ribbons please they may fray over time but they last longer then these faux leather pulls. Headed back to store tomorrow.

I have 2 of these. Great size, layout, strap!, ---I use them all the time and fit them inside a larger Vera Bag. Can then take it out if just going into grocery store and don't want to take all my other purse stuff. Just great....except side zipper Silver! The top zipper is nice and matches the fabric. Vera Bradley -on all purses please ditch these ugly silver zippers and have zippers that match the fabric. My black bag would look so elegant if it didn't have this stand out silver cheap looking. (the bags aren't cheap) Side zipper does work well but so ugly when it could look fabulous. Would give 5 stars for sure with a simple zipper change.

I like the bag but the fabric around the grommet (where the cellphone wire goes through) already popped out and I don't even use it. I feel for what these bags cost, that should not be happening. I've owned it for about a month. I also wish they would take a page from the travelon bags and put a security latch on the wallet zipper. If they improve on it, maybe make it a little bigger also, I'll buy another one.

I've bought this bag before. I was disappointed to find the pouch zipper is clunky and hard to pull. Also it doesn't fully open as previous one did. The side pocket doesn't snap close and is left open. I love the size of the bag , but unhappy with the changes. I most likely wouldn't buy this particular bag again.

I do not like the way the cross strap is on the bag . I have lots of vera Bradley bags . And I like all of them, just not this one so much,!!!

I bought this for a gift. I like the pattern, design and features read well. I was disappointed when I received the product to see, and feel, the metal zipper on the front pocket. It does not convey the polish of Vera Bradley products. The last couple of items I have ordered do not seem to be the high quality I was used to.

They have changed the zipper to a bigger tooth zipper and it does not work nearly as well.

I have three little hipsters, but this one has a few modifications I am not crazy about. First, the front zipper no longer goes all the way around the three sides - making it difficult to get cards out. Second, the front zipper is metal, while the top zipper is black nylon. Third, the credit card holders seem to be smaller - I can't fit as many cards in this one as I could my older ones. Finally, I miss the magnetic closure on the back. I will need to re-evaluate my choices the next time I need a new purse.

I returned this bag. Like the style but the pattern was just way to bright for me.

This purse is the perfect style for home and travel. My only problem is the zipper that opens/closes the outside wallet. This zipper isn't smooth, teeth are sharp, and takes away on the purse's look. This will be my last little hipster purchase, unless they change the zipper back to the original look.

A lot of nice features. Lightweight and crossbody style. I love the overall size but wish is had more like a 2 inch depth. Difficult to really carry glasses wallet and other necessary items daily.

Perfect size for my daughter. Just the right number of compartments. Vibrant and colorful.

This bag doesn't seem to be the same quality as my last two Little Hipsters. The back pocket is much smaller. The two zippers are made of different material and don't match well. The zipper is gold and the strap hardware is silver. It seems there wasn't too much thought put into this bag like my others. I like the pattern so I decided to keep it but not completely happy.

Bought another Hipster for my mom. She LOVES the Hipster. We were both disappointed with the quality. Zippers do not match. I shop Vera often but have not purchased for myself in the past year as I am no longer wowed by the quality! I have purchased at least 20 various bags for myself and others. I want to return to Vera but, the quality of the fabrics and the new zipper installation makes the bags look and feel cheap. Vera please return to making quality bags.... I miss my Vera bags.

The Little Hipster is one of my favorite styles. But I was sorry to find my newest one lacks at least two things that I regret. There is no magnetic snap on the outside pocket and the zipper on the card/bill holder on the front is much shorter. By not being as long on the sides it makes the opening smaller so that the contents are harder to access or see. Also when I filled it with the exact same items from the older one I was carrying it was lumpy as if it held less.

I love the compartment in the front with all the slots for cards. Just add more, since everything needs a card these days and use the lining so they can't be scanned.

I was very disappointed because there are two different zippers on it. The zipper for main compartment is nylon and work well. The front compartment where you would put credit cards and money, is metal and does not work well. I love the Little Hipsters and have several of them and use them until they wear out. Don't think this one will last very long.

I bought the mini hipster for traveling and found it too small for my needs. Not too worry, I passed it down to my daughter who travels quite a bit and doesn't carry as much as I do. And It is in her favorite colors. Win-win all around.

In general I love this bag, its great for when you're on the go and just need the necessities. However, the old design was much better in my opinion. They took away what I feel was the most important feature - the slim inner zip pocket that was found in the compartment under the flap. It allowed me to skip trying to squeeze a wallet into this tiny bag and instead stash credit cards, money (larger bills) & ID securely into a built in pocket. I don't want all of this stuff in the top flap because of it's easy access to other people (plus if accidentally left unzipped, it could easily fall out) I use that flap for items that I want quick access to but aren't as valuable (small bills, chapstick, etc). And I prefer having those valuable items in a zipped pocket rather than in the card slots in that compartment. I just don't know why they changed the design, I really feel like it was perfect before.... my guess is cutting corners so the production cost is less? But now that leaves me searching to find a compact crossbody from another manufacturer that is more similar to the older version of this bag....... Do I still like the bag and use it, of course.... but if I found something by someone else that matched the old design I would be switching over immediately.....
