I received the Vera Bradley Iconic Small Backpack in black and I absolutely love it! It is great for keeping all of my essentials as I am walking the beach strip! I live near Jacksonville Beach, FL and I have used it to hold everything I need such as my wallet, sunscreen, phone, makeup, etc.! It is so much more convenient than bringing a purse or larger backpack/bag everywhere! It is the perfect size! It isn't too big or too small! I love the beautiful flower design on the inside and the black is perfect for me! I am going down to south Florida in a few weeks and I can't wait to bring it with me! I will be using it again while we are walking around Fort Lauderdale beach! This backpack is super comfortable to wear and lightweight! I would buy this again and will recommend to my friends and family!

This back pack is called small but has just right amount of space and is perfect size for me that can fit my wallet, makeup bag, water bottle, small umbrella and other small objects. It is great on trips instead of handbag. It is very stylish and I especially love the print inside of the backpack. I have received so many compliments when wearing it. The material is lightweight, cleans up easily and quality is great. I love that it has so many different pockets: a zip pocket and 2 slip pockets inside, a zip pocket and 3 slip pockets outside. So many different compartments help me keep my things organized.

I love this bag. I have the small version. It is great as a larger size purse or for an outing. I let my 8 year old use it for playdates and things where she needs to bring snack, toys or meds. Other days I use it as a purse. I love it. It appears to be high quality. I have had zero issues with it. And the pattern on the fabric inside is beautiful. I will recommends this bag to others.

I carry this bag around with my every day on different occasions! When I'm by myself, I use it for personal use (money, makeup, etc.) when I'm with my kids I use it for diapers, wipes, baby items, and I also take it to work with me and put my work stuff in it! It is very nice and so stylish for any occasion! It's lightweight, designed beautifully, and comfortable to wear over the shoulders! I have fell in love with this bag!

As the name indicates, this bag is amazing. I have a owned a messenger bag from vera bradley in the past , and loved it, but never got a chance to try a backpack out from this brand collection because i had a concept in my mind to use that traditional faux leather /leather material or plastic ones to carry at my work or anywhere else going casually because then i could use them roughly without the fear of it falling apart. This backpack is sturdiest among the ones i have used. The quilted material gives a signature look to the bag, the black color is perfectly iconic ,it is right sized,functional, its spacious and accommodates my notebook, planner , tablet, water bottle, snacks ,wallet very nicely. It has inner zip , outer zip and side pockets for perfect organization. Its lightweighted and extremely comfortable when carried. I almost take this bag everyday and feel proud using vera bradley products

Very nice bag. The small backpack is a little to small for me but it still works as a gym bag, diaper bag, or small purse. I have a small black backpack and I really do love it, it's not to flashy and the inside lining is pretty.

This backpack is absolutely adorable. Yet it is still function able. It has a great design and the colors are vivid.

I can say that I love my Iconic Small Backpack in Black by Vera Bradley...having a little one makes carrying anything so much harder, including my purse. Being able to just put this on my back not only makes shopping so much easier, it helps me feel more secure not holding multiple things. When it comes to the backpack itself there are plenty of storage options including a zipper section on the inside for storing important things. I love the flower pattern inside, it makes the backpack pop from being just black. The material on the outside of the backpack is quite soft which makes this comfortable to wear. Overall this product seems to be of very good quality and should hold up for a long time, very pleased.

Very nice bag, fun to carry

I use this bag as my purse and it's the best one I've had. There are so many pockets to keep everything organized, which I love. I actually found another pocket in it that I didn't know existed. I was thrilled

Absolutely LOVE the SHORE THING pattern and would love to see MORE items in this pattern.

I love this Bag! It allows me to carry everything I need, without sacrificing style. It's very comfortable and sleek. There are lots of pockets, adjustable straps, and a spot for my water. The touch of floral print on the inside is to die for. I like having my hands free, this has basically replaced my purse.

I use it to carry my babies' things, they are 1 and 3 years old, the size is perfect because I do not need to carry many things, my diaper bag is Vera Bradley and my husband has a regular size Vera Bradley backpack that he also used as a diaper bag, but now we do not need something so big so we opted for a small backpack and it is perfect in all aspects.

This bag is great for like trips to the zoo when I need my things and my toddlers diaper wipes and snacks. I'll be using it a lot this summer. Its very comfortable to wear and unlike all the adjustment in the straps. And pockets are nice for keep things organized.

I love Vera Bradley ! My Veras always receive lovely compliments from family, friends and co-workers. Maybe I should have been a dedicated employee for this forward thinking company. I'm always singing their praises. Continue to bring us more products we can use everyday, special days and travel days.

Perfect size for everyday use. The top phone pocket is a great idea, if only there were a way to close it, with a snap or Velcro.

This is a great bag for any style. It has tons of room and several pockets ( I love the one on the back ) I have gotten so many compliments on it, too! It's easy to adjust and the straps are really comfortable. Great for going out for the day ..or night. Its nice not to have to dig through the bottom of a bag to get to something. I would highly recommend checking them out. Beautiful bags! Great brand, amazing product!

Great for when I'm on the go and don't want to tote around a large bag all day! I love the quality synonymous with Vera Bradley and the look, style and feel of this bag is definitely one of quality. I would buy this bag 100 times over and definitely recommend!

A great substitute for a purse! I had never used a small backpack before - it is a great size. Not a standard sized backpack - but more mini in size. Very comfortable to wear. My preteen daughter also wants one now.

I go on road trips all the time with my small family, and this small backpack is just the perfect size to use. I love that it is black, modern, sleek and with feminine touch to it. It is not too bulky and it has enough padding. It is high quality, and this is now my go-to backpack for everyday activities. This small backpack is really handy because it has a lot of pockets for storing just about anything small stuff for my art, e.g. pens, journals, watercolors, wallets, wet wipes; even extra clothes for my kids, and so on. It is soft to touch, silky and it has gorgeous floral lining on the inside.

I'm completely obsessed with this bag! It's very simple, which fits my personality great. But it's not simple in a way that it's not adorable. It's got a super cute design on the inside. Perfect size. Not bulky or too small. This can be perfect for anything you want to use it for. I've used it for a beach trip already and carried it around all day at a theme park. I LOVE IT!

The first couple of times I purchased Vera Totes I didn't like that they were wider than they were tall, and they seemed so awfully large as a purse, so I would return them, but the patterns & colors always drew me back in. I have the vines floral neutral which is gorgeous but I wasn't using it, and then it hit me one day to put a lined attractive trash receptacle into the Vera and use it for dry paper trash or paper recycling, and that way I see it every day and enjoy my useful Vera!

Many thanks to the genius who came up with that little pocket at the top of this bag (right next to the zipper). The PERFECT spot for my car keys -- no more digging around the bottom of the bag for them! (Also holds my lipstick and Club Store Membership card -- no more shuffling my wallet at the front door of Costco) I was sort of prepared to be disappointed in the new tote (all the complaints about the new lining), and while I might miss that fluffy quilted cotton interior, that precious little pocket more than makes up for it!

I love the print on one of my favorite everyday handbags.
