I have always loved this brand but this pair of shoes did not hold up well at all. In only a few weeks, the Velcro strap began to separate. To pay this much, you expect the materials to last longer. Very disappointed!

I bought these in two different colors for my sons. One son is wide through the toes & is really hard to fit shoes. Tsukihoshis have a generous toe box, which is so hard to find! I also love that they’re washable. my kids hike & get them sandy and wet and they wash up well & dry over night.

These are great! Easy to put on and cute. They also dry overnight, which helps because my son loves to walk through puddles.

Love the style of this shoe but it’s the worst quality shoe I’ve ever bought for my kids. The rubber has separated any area possible. And this degradation happened within a short time of purchasithem.

Perfect school shoes for my 4 y/o son ~ dressy enough to wear to chapel with jeans and slacks, & also casual enough to wear with joggers & shorts.

This was the 3rd pair of these I’ve bought for my son (incrementally bigger sizes). The suede look can be dressed up and they are tough enough for him to really play in.

My 4 year old loves these shoes! They’re his second pair of Racers, the first pair were when he was 2. He plays harder now, and it shows on the shoes. We alternate these shoes with a pair of Plaes and these are wearing way faster. This is our only complaint though. He will pick these shoes every time, they’re easy for him to put on himself, and he claims they make him faster.

Almost the perfect the perfect shoe for an active 6 year old. Seems sturdy to hold up for a long time (we have friends who wore them for almost a year everyday and it held up!). But these were too narrow for my kids feet and doesn’t have any arch support, so it seems like his feet are turned in. I really wanted to love these, alas the search continues.

Love these, and they were my son’s favorites, but frustrating to have spent so much $ only for them to fall apart. Separations happened soon after purchase...but we kept gluing/wearing them until the soles were literally dangling from his feet. Never seen that happen before, to this extent, on any shoes our family has ever purchased.

So bummed. I love this brand and it has honestly been my go-to since my child started wearing shoes, but we’ve had this pair for a little over a month and the stitching is coming apart on the strap.

Unfortunately, this shoe fell apart after only one week of wear! This style may work for toddlers, but for bigger kids who can run around, I do not recommend. Other Tsukihoshi styles, like the Velocity, do not have this issue and have held up better. Zappos customer service was friendly and quick to give us store credit for this order and help us replace it with a different style.

These shoes have completely fallen apart within the first week of my son wearing them. I’m really disappointed because I’ve read nothing but great reviews.

These shoes are super cute but do NOT wear well. My son has only worn them a few times and the tongue is completely ripped up.

We bought these in August of 2018. Its now April of 2019, just 8 months, and they have fallen apart. And we didn't even wear them for most of the winter! Winter is 6 months long here in Wisconsin! The stitching came apart on the velcro strap and they just wore out super fast. All three kids have lived in and passed on their tsukihoshi's, and never had we had one that wore out so quickly and so badly... :(

We absolutely love these shoes—this is our second pair! My 3-year-old says they’re very comfortable, and when they get too dirty, I just toss them in the washer, and they come out looking like new. Highly recommend!

I love this brand for my son since the time he could walk, and he’s now 6. I love the look of lace-up, but has Velcro to secure. They always run bigger than size, but I always buy knowing that and that he will eventually grow into. Super quality. Most boys sneakers have scuffs/rips/holes after a month, but these shoes stand the quality test. He also says they make him run the fastest! lol!

My son loves these shoes. These are the best quality shoes, I’m buying him the next size up in this brand.

My son wore these sneakers for most of a school year to his outdoor preschool. Water resistance kept his feet drier than most of his classmates! They held up pretty well (and didn't look TOO worn out by the time he outgrew them). We bought the next size up and he still likes them.

Love these shoes on my toddler who has wide feet. When they get dirty, I soak them in dish soap, oxyclean, and water overnight, then dry them in low heat on a rack without tumbling. I've done this twice now and everything holds up after the heat. (YMMV depending on your dryer) This is the second pair after my toddler moved up a size, so they lasted a solid year of daily use. The shoes are pretty easy to get on and off too. I think I'll come back to these for the near future.

We love Tsukuhoshi sneakers for my 4 year old. He has always had wide feet and we’ve had a really hard time finding comfortable shoes for him. Even extra wide in some brands are an extremely tight fit. These just fit wonderfully and are definitely the go to brand. The current pair has some ware but he uses them daily and is pretty rough so only to be expected. I haven’t noticed anything out of the norm. Just purchased our 4th pair and will keep buying
