my husband loves the rigid finish in this jean. I have to wash them a couple of times before he will wear them and sometimes if I do not straighten them before drying, they will have white streaks in them. Other than having to wash them, these are the best jeans ever made.

The first wear before wash was great. Not too stiff and very comfortable. Quality is sturdy, not flimsy like the retro pairs. Go well over my pair of boots. Quality still held up well after first wash. Would recommend.

Mike is a trim carpenter and has been for 53 years. He gets the rigid slim cut because they last so much longer. He looks fantastic in them (his checks looks especially nice) and he feels good too!

Great Product! I always wear Wrangler jeans, but nortmally I buy them from a retailer. This time I bought them from Wrangler and couldn't be happier. At Wrangler you get the size you want not just whatever they have on the shelf and to me they look better than the ones off the shelf. With the discount I was giving, the price was very reasonable. From now on whenever I buy jeans I will go directly to Wrangler. Great Company, Great Product and Reasonable Price

I have been buying and wearing Wrangler Original Cowboy Cut jeans for the last 50 years and will continue to,as long as they make them. They are comfortable and wear excellently. I have tried all of the other brands and they don't come close to Wranglers!!!!

The price for these jeans will be the reason I stop buying Levi's. Quality and fit is just as good Caution give your self plenty of time needing the jeans. Shipping is terrible. Change delivery date 2 times.

Wrangler jeans are famous for Americana/Western wear. The history is fascinating. The original company Blue Bell used to make overalls but then decided to branch out so they hired Rodeo Ben who was a Polish immigrant tailor to help design jeans for rodeo cowboys. Their first jeans were called Wrangler 11MW (11ounces Men Western) and they debuted in 1947. Took 13 prototypes and when they added a zipper they called it: MWZ (men with zippers although a few say the W stands for western). They changed it to 13 because the weight was 13 ounces per yard. But some say it's because it took 13 tries. But the 11MWZ's name changed to 13MWZ in 1952 and you can still buy it for about 25 dollars (at local tack shops) even 77 years later. It's also the only jean endorsed by the rodeo. Both the 13MWZ and 936DEN (slim cowboy cut vs 13MWZ's classic cowboy cut) are rigid and heavy raw denim at about 15 ounces. I used to only wear 936DENs but I wanted a bit more mobility. I thought the 13MWZs look like clown pants but that's only because they are rigid raw denim. I wear 30x32 in work pants and I bought 30x36 in 13MWZs. Why? Because they do shrink in length. I could've gotten 30x32 but I stack mine over boots and cuff them with trainers. But these jeans have higher rise (you wear it closer to your belly button, higher pockets so you don't sit on your wallet, felled seams, more loops but wider space for a giant buckle. Also smooth rivets as not to scuff anything up and a non leather patch (a leather patch would get sticky in the saddle). Why do I enjoy them? They're cheap at around 25 dollars and incredibly strong and durable. Fits over my boots. I enjoy the high rise as I have long legs and higher rise also allows more mobility when moving and comfort when sitting down. I think at this point in my life I buy one article of clothing a year and have a uniform of functional clothing to simplify life. Although I do like my old overalls, they don't fit over my boots.

I like to find a waist fit then the length fit. I wear 32 or 33 waist with a 29 inseam. This depends on the cut and vendor. I selected 33/29 and they fit fine and I like to break in my own. I will wear for awhile and let them soften up a bit and use recommended washing techniques.

Love the jeans I got. The only thing I dislike is that they are stiff. I'm sure they won't be after several washings and getting them broke in
