I have worn these years for 15+ years on a daily basis riding horses. I have been the same size for all those years. Prior to the change in sizing I wore size 3 in the summer and size 5 in the winter so I could wear long John's under them. I tried going one size down and the size 3 was bigger than the old 5s, way too big, by at least 2 inches. I returned those and went with the 2 size reduction recommendation and I couldn't zip them. The size 1 I received seemed to be the old sizing not the new. Won't buy again until the sizing gets figured out.

I used to have a pair of cowboy cut and I loved them! I wanted to buy another pair and the sizing is a disaster! I am technically a 3 based of the sizing charts but the 3 are so tight I can't get them on and the 5 and huge on me. I wish wrangler would stop changing their sizing and go back to how they used to be.

We have wrangler products and i5 is getting so annoying how different all the sizes are. Will not be buying anymore until we can try them on. Sizes are such hugely different for all the jeans it is do hard to try any of the sizes.

I'm very bummed out on the sizing change. Keep a classic a classic. Bad move, Wrangler. I will not purchase these again, and am super disappointed that my favorite jeans no longer exist. The "True to Size" fit is unflattering for my body and the fabric seems much lower quality than the thick, real denim that I expect when I purchase this item. I'm deeply, deeply saddened by this change.

Using the size chart and a tape measure, I ordered my appropriate size, 3. When I received the size 3s, they fit but were a little snug and short so I decided to exchange them for one size up and a longer inseam to be more comfortable. When the size 5s arrived they were SO much smaller. I couldn't button or zip them (I was able to fully button and zip the 3s). I held the 3s and 5s next to each other and the 5s were visibly a lot smaller than the 3s. I double checked all tags and labels and everything was labeled correctly. I am assuming that one of these was mis-marked in the factory. I measured the size 5s with a tape measure and they were an inch or two smaller than what the size chart says is size 5. I worked with customer service to return the 5s and they said they would send a new pair of 5s. The new pair was the exact same issue- too small, even smaller than the 3s. I ended up returning all of the jeans and will not attempt to purchase again out of frustration. I am left confused as to how the size 5s are smaller and tighter than the size 3s....

Yo wrangler what a stupendously dumb move messing with the fit and sizing of what was an absolute classic. You should immediately change it all back to exactly how it was for time immemorial and judging from the comments this opinion puts me solidly in the majority. Also even the quality of the material is tanking. Never felt personally insulted by an article of clothing much less pair of jeans until now.

I originally got a size 5 and they were WAY to tight, I couldn't even button them. So I return3d them and got a size 9 which us 2 sizes up and they were WAY too big, like falling off. So I went to the middle size and they are yet still, TOO BIG.

I'm generally a size 4-6. I originally tried a 5 and 7, neither fit and were way too tight. I then ordered a 9 and 11. The 9 was bigger than the 11 was. There's no consistency to their sizing.

The sizing change is nearly one of the dumbest things I've ever seen a company do. Absolutely ridiculous. What are petite women who need tough, affordable clothes to do? Also along with the sizing change I'm noticing a definite decline in material quality. Wrangler used to be hands down the best jeans option for working people. I'm afraid those days are over. Sincerely, get your act together. You should be ashamed of yourself

After years of purchasing these jeans in a size 0 (23/24" waist), I was disappointed to find that I am no longer able to find my size as they are now TWO sizes larger than they used to be, and some of the wash options use spandex which wears in terribly and too quickly.
It is so difficult to find quality work wear for women, I'm crossing my fingers that they bring back smaller sizes and continue using 100% cotton!

Returning products with this brand it awful. The return label should not be so difficult to access for a company that advertises returns and exchanges. The jeans themselves seemed like fine quality but the sizing is so off. I ordered a size larger than I usually order and had to size up for the exchange (if I can even exchange at this point). I'm very disappointed and wouldn't recommend this brand or product for anyone I call a friend. Maybe an enemy.

I'm on my Third pair of these trying to find my right size. I ordered a 38 in length but one of them is way too short, not nearly as long as the other 38. The sizing is way off and now it's inaccurate in length not just the waist. Super frustrating

I have been wearing these jeans for over 40 years. I used to wear a size 7, but have put on a little wait as I have gotten older (77 years old) and now I wear a size 9. The jeans have always fit me perfectly as I have a smaller waist and I have hips. I'm not straight up and down. Since the sizing has changed the 9's are too big all over. I have washed them several times in hot water and put them in the dryer with no shrinkage results. So I ordered a size 7 as recommended and they are too small. I don't know why the sizing had to change. I was going to try a size 8, but this particular jean does not come in even sizes. I guess I won't be wearing Wrangler jeans any longer. VERY dissapointed!!!

I love these jeans and the wash, but they are ridiculously small. I am a normal size 4 in jeans with a slender build. A size 9 in these jeans fit my waist snug.

I absolutely loved the old bleach washed jeans. However, with the recent "size change" a lot more than just sizing has changed. I ordered two sizes bigger, like the brand suggests and now they are too big. Not only that, but they also are all off in the dimensions now so they don't fit properly on me. The stitching quality is horrible with stitches already coming out of the jeans before they were ever worn. On the inside the stitches are messy. The quality of the material is by far what I am most upset about. On the product description of the fabric is says 100% cotton on the inside tag my jeans say the same. Yet, i can see the elastic fibers sticking out on the jeans from the spandex. These are supposed to be heavyweight tough material. That is why i used to love the jeans. I work construction and my jeans go through a lot, but the old ones held up well. These i can guarantee won't last 3 months before ripping and having holes in them. This material is far thinner than the old jeans. One pair had a stain on it when i received them. I could go on and on but the conclusion is i loved the old jeans and would buy tons of them right now, but these new ones are not the same at all and are very poor quality so i guess i'll be looking for another jean brand soon.

I've always worn these jeans, they have been a staple in my closet. I just bought a new pair unaware of the change (I'm so used to ordering them and knowing what I want I don't need to read the reviews) I ordered my usually size and they are huge on me and the fabric feels terrible and stretchy. I've loved the old ones because of the density of the denim and lack of stretch. Very disappointed to say the least. The color is also completely different

I bought several pairs of these jeans months ago and they were perfect. Tough, thick denim that holds up to hard work. I bought two new pairs with the new size chart. They fit, BUT the fabric is THIN ER and the quality feels like regular store jeans instead of the hardy material I wrangler is known for. I am SO DISAPPOINTED. These are going to tear up in no time. I might send them back and switch brands to something else. I don't want to have to buy men's jeans to get strong material.

i dont understand why they would change their size chart. the old jeans fit me perfectly!!!! now when i look at the size chart, my waist is too small for any of the sizes while my hips and thighs come in at around a size 3 or 5. i generally have to buy "curvy" jeans because of this, which break the bank. guess im sticking to abercrombie curve love from now on since wrangler changed the sizes:/

Fourth pair of these and I'm more lost on sizing than ever. It's like they changed up the make of these every time I reordered. My most recent pair; I ordered same waist size in a different length and the whole fit in the waist and butt is off, why?? I just don't understand how the sizing on these is so bad. Jealous of some of these ladies that get to wear this great looking pair of jeans but after four pairs, I'm over trying to figure out the puzzle!
