These shoes are exceptional. The color scheme and style goes well together. I am happy with these pair of shoes as I am with all the new balances I own. Once again New Balance, great job.

My grandson has wide feet and it is hard to find shoes for him. New Balance has wide sizes and colors other than black and white, which is important to a teenager. He loves his new shoes and they fit very well. I only buy New Balance for myself, because I have a long foot. It is so nice to be able to get American made shoes in such a variety of sizes, styles, and colors.

In new balance shoes I always go up a half size (Normally wear 11 - wear 11.5 in NB) so they fit true to what I normally wear in New Balance brand. I've only worn them 4 times in a week and they are comfortable. I've worn them all day through airports and to work out in at night at both gyms or outside a few times. They did well in all scenarios. I would recommend the shoes. My only complaint is the I don't love the finger pull on the back with pants.

The shoes feel & fit great, but I’m disappointed by the quality. I’ve owned these for two weeks and taken them on a few trail runs, and yet they already have torn fabric near the laces. New Balance must’ve really cut back on durable material. Overall I’d give them a 6/10.

My 9 yr old nephew has really wide feet so buying him shoes that actually fit and isn’t a struggle to put in isn’t easy ! But these worked well just wish they had brighter colors ! The stood the test of time for about 3-4months but his baby toe made its way out the side of the sneaker !

I had this in the past, i thought it was only a fsir shoe. But they kinda worked okay for me so i am tempted to try it again. I like they are light on my feet

Very nice and good price. As for the size the toe area for (wide 4E) was a little snug. Otherwise it's fine.

These shoes lasted about seven weeks. My son loved them but I would expect to get a few months out of them before they start tearing.

These are sold as 4E wide. However the toe box is significantly tighter. The length of the shoe is 1/4 to 1/2 size smaller than regular. They make for a tight fit.

I have wide feet, and as anyone with wide feet knows, there aren’t tons of options for us. NB does a great job of offering us some options. These shoes look awesome, no doubt. But, I have suffered plantar fasciitis for almost a year and had found relief in the NB 880v7 after some downtime, gait/foot strike exercise and easing back in. I needed trail shoes for an upcoming 15k and got these in hopes they would work. They didn’t, my feet slid around a lot up front, probably due to the small lacing pattern (not 100% sure) or maybe it was a bad fit, they also cause my PF to resurface. I have initiated a return. Ultimately, these didn’t work for me, but you may find they work for your running style.

My foot was not measured as wide by the local new balance store. However I find my foot being squeezed and pain after more than 2 hours in the shoe

I gave up wearing Asics Gel Nimbus after over a decade, because the toe box kept getting smaller and smaller, so I went to NB and began with the 1080 v8 which fit my 4E feet like a dream.I next ordered the Nitrel (4E width) because of its looks. I LOVED the design and construction of the shoe, but the toe box can't be more than a D width. Bummer!

I have a hard wide foot to fit. Since a teenager always a problem with the right shoe. These shoes did not make it at all. They are not a true 4E wide shoe, at least not by my foots standards. Zappos I must say, have been very patient and on the money, literally, with my returns on the no go shoes. This pair of shoes did not cut it.

Got these to replace my worn out New Balance mt690v2s. I really love my 690v2s but can't find new ones anywhere and these look similar so Ithought I'd give them a try. Size-for-size compared to the 690v2s, the heel is a little narrower, the toebox is a little roomier, and the shoe is just slightly longer. Also, these have a gusseted tongue and the upper feels a little stiffer. I loved the fit of the 690v2s on my short, fat feet. Even the extra-wide ones look stylish and provide lightweight comfort and cushion on a neutral platform. I have a second pair I keep as casual sneakers and in my opinion they look as sharp as any other casual sneakers, even better than most. I don't like these nitrels. The heel is to narrow for me, the shoe is slightly too long, and the toebox has too much empty space and flexes weird. Also, the stiffer upper means less flexibility to confirm to my fat feet and the gusseted tongue bunches up and creases on itself by my toes when i try to tighten the laces even a little to make up for the oversized toebox. It's a shame New Balance seems to have stopped making the 690 trail series. Honestly I'm getting a bit frustrated with New Balance because every time I find a series I like that fits well and looks good they quit making it. Anyway, I returned these and bought some Asics Sonoma 3s. Much better fit, not as sharp looking as the 690v2s as they're a more traditional style sneaker but they have a very similar fit and feel to the 690v2s. My advice? Keep looking. These really aren't that great.
