These are great shoes. I purchased them after my 3 year old son wore a suede New Balance sneaker and it fell apart after 2 weeks. I bought an 11 wide and it looks true to size and width. New Balance tends to run wide as it is, so my son can “fit” a standard width but the Velcro doesn’t close properly. This wide fit needs to be pulled fully across but the fit is perfect. The material is also great for active kids. My son has worn them for almost 3 months and they look brand new. The edging on the toe material and sides is substantial and water resistant. The tread is similar to a hiking shoe, not completely non slip but improved compared to a basic sneaker. They do get stuff stuck in them at times (play doh). We bought the green ones. They look great with fall and winter clothes as they are fairly neutral. The bright sole is a fun pop of color. My only concern if I had to have one is they aren’t made of leather so they may be hot in the summer.

I bought these shoes for my eight-year-old son who has wide feet and is almost flat footed. I struggle a lot in general to find him good sneakers, but have found new balance to be very reliable brand for wider feet. He says they are very comfortable, and whilst he is only a few weeks into using them they look great and I am happy with the quality. I also love that these are Velcro and not laces. I sometimes find that Velcro on sneakers for people with wide feet is a bit too short and only “pulls” half way over but that is not the case with these. I would highly recommend for anyone shopping for wider width sneakers for kids.

These are a bit narrower than other NB shoes in wides.

My youngest son has very wide feet and New Balance is our go-to for stylish hook and loop sneakers with a wide width. These look great and the width felt like a true wide width, plenty of room for my son's foot. It's hard to predict how they will wear (our previous New Balance sneakers were worn through faster than usual). Overall, he seems happy with them and I'm with the wide width sneakers Zappos offers!

This shoe was narrower than other new balance shoes we tried of the same size.

The shoes fit my grandson well and he said "these shoes make me better at basketball". Obviously he's happy with the purchase!

Decent shoe but not breathable at all. My sons feet stink so bad after wearing. I have to throw away. Doesn’t help to wash.

I got a half size up. My 7 y/o loved them, but they fell apart really quickly -- both the velcro and the bottoms.

Got these in September 2018! Lasted 2 months.

I bought this shoes for my boys, and within 3 days the shoe is falling apart.
