My son has over pronation, so this is one style that works for him. It wears out fast (or he could be really rough on his shoes, he’s an active 10 yo). When we went to the running store to get sized they recommended going just a size bigger to give space for additional inserts. Wish there were more colors options, but this is a staple shoe.

My son has extra wide feet and these were a big hit. He says they are comfortable and he loves the colors! Laces tend to need a double tie to stay all day at school due to the material.

My son loves these NB sneakers, these are his second pair. They are super sturdy, lace up and provide excellent support for all the running around he does. Worth the price as they last very long.

My son loved these shoes! He has a WIDE foot so we always have to go with a wide shoe, XW is even better! The xw in this shoe turned out to be too wide, and was falling around his ankles. We exchanged them for the wide which should arrive tomorrow.

My son has very side feet, and he LOVES these shoes. He is very happy with them, with the exception of the laces, they do not stay tied well. Even a double knot manages to come undone. I highly recommend these if your child has very wide feet. We went with the XW. I do wish they offered more shoes, in fine styles and colors, in an XW.

My 11 year old loves them! He has wide feet and New Balance fit him really well. I think the only reason we had to go up a half size is because these are a true running shoe.

My little guy loves them...they fit him great and hopefully they are as durable as they appear. Would like to see regular shoe laces as opposed to the flat laces.

Seems like a great shoe but laces seem to be a bit short. 6 year old would have trouble tying these on his own. Buying new laces as a result. Overall happy with purchase.

My son has extra wide feet and these are almost the only shoes that come in that width. He likes that he has some "cool" looking choices. However, we had to return these for a half size up. He measured at a size 4XW and we ordered 4.5XW. When they arrived, his toe was touching the end of the shoe. Zappos, as always is awesome, and we had the new bigger shoe the next day. The return process is about as painless as possible.

Bought these for a 6th grader for Cross Country, based on the recommendation of a popular running magazine. They run about a half size bigger and much wider than their Asics counterpart in the same size! They also weren't as cushy/comfy when tried out on the carpet, as the other shoe was. They went back.

My son was very happy with these shoes when they arrived, but now (exactly 1 month later) one eyelet has ripped off and there is fraying around others. The shoes were very expensive for kids sneakers, but we had a lot of success in the past with new balances. Im very disappointed in the quality of this shoe and will never spend this much money on a pair of new balances again.
