I should have listened to the one reviewer before me, as she was spot on. These are actually pretty comfortable for what they are, and do a good job, but the top rolled down. I thought this might be a sizing issue, but I tried multiple sizes and had the same issue with all.

The waist started rolling down, and the legs rolling up, immediately. And mine did not come with the removable straps to attach the garment to a bra. From reviews I've read elsewhere, the straps should have been in a little bag attached to the hang tags, but no luck. Maybe the straps would have made the difference, but as badly as this was rolling down, I think they probably would have just pulled my bra down too.

It’s comfortable, but I wish it had grips on the top. It’s also see through in the panties, which I was hoping to avoid considering I use this when changing in front of other dancers. Probably an issue most people would not have but just FYI. I didn’t think it would fit when I first started pulling it up but it’s actually very breathable. I normally wear a 16w and an xl top and the 1x fit perfectly. The panels (shown inside out) feel about as firm as vinyl but with a breathable surface. Material between the panels is very stretchy. It didn’t come with the straps to attach to the bra as pictured.

Agree with other reviewers that they are difficult to keep up unless you use the extra straps to attach to your bra which then causes some bra pull down problems. Legs can also roll up. Not as compressive/controlling as I would have thought for the description, which I don't think is a size issue so much as a product issue. Overall, they are ok; I have worn them a few times and will likely continue to do so as I'm not sure there is something better.

You can’t go wrong with these- they suck in all the right places and don’t roll down They are as comfortable as they are functional.

I was worried these would roll at the top, but they didn't! They were also long enough that my legs didn't rub. I would buy these again!

The fit is tight but extremely comfortable. You have to work a little to get into it but once on and adjusted it is VERY effective....especially with my trouble areas....flabby lower tummy saggy tush and muffin top. I wear it OVER high waist control top pantyhose. This combination controls my muffin top smoothly smoothly. I also wear a long line bra with this girdle and all my fitted outfits really look great....ive received many compliments on my appearance. For shorter skirts and shorts, consider the Spanx Encore high waist brief. The brief provides the same great tummy, tush and muffin top control...it's just as comfortable and effective just shorter....just take your time when getting into either style they are tight but will definitely control all your future issues...i have two in each color and style...for special occasion outfits and for everyday....try it you'll be glad you did. Good Support and compression where you need it, but kept rolling down. I tried it under my dress, but the top would budge as it was rolling down. I am a size 6 just looking for a bit for tummy compression.

I haven't bought actual Spanx brand shapewear in many years, and unfortunately they have redesigned this product and made it worse. I tried both a large and XL and the top rolled down on both. I really miss the silicone strip thing that held it up. I also expected WAAAY more shaping and sucking in from a "Support Level 3: Sculpt - A Super Firm Hug." This is supposed to be their strongest level shapewear and it just was not. And I'm definitely a large on the bottom so I know I got the right size. I'm so disappointed this is nowhere near as great as I remember.

The shape panels are detaching after only a few wears.

I absolutely LOVE Spanx, and have used these undergarments for years. My absolute favorite have been the In-Power Line Super High Power shorts (that have now been discontinued)....These were supposedly supposed to be one of the products to replace those In-Power Line shorts?? Ugh!!! SO incredibly disappointed in these Oncore High Wastes shorts!! They are softer to the touch, and Maybe would be more comfortable, IF they didn't roll down!!! They tuck in the tummy, but took the back support away, so rolls happen!!? Like I said, I am a seasoned Spanx wearer, I know my size, and I'm not a very large person (with not a lot that needs "held in"). I just love the smoothing powers and MIRACLES that the usual Spanx can achieve.....but NOT THIS PRODUCT! So sad. Thank goodness for Zappos return policy!!! I just went on the Spanx website and panic ordered 5 pairs of the In-Power Line shorts, since Zappos doesn't have them, (they are clearance on Spanx because of being discontinued).
