After wearing them once, the seams on the butt became thin and frayed out, after just the one wear. It happened to two pairs, not just one.

I bought 2 pairs of Women's Retro Mae Mid Rise Wide Leg Trouser Jeans at 2 separate times from 2 different retailers, both pairs ripped out (6-7 inches) along one of the back pockets. Both pairs were worn less than 10 times and not worn for work. I have several other pairs of Wrangler jeans and have never had a problem with any of them. In fact, I have worn them for years until they wear out. So needless to say, I was very disappointed with these.

Initially loved the fit of these jeans and wore them 2-3 times. On the fourth wear the jeans ripped along the back pocket seam! Talk about embarrassing and disappointing! After speaking with a few sales reps and reading others recent reviews this seems to be a common known problem. If this does end up happening to you, make sure you save the jeans to send back otherwise you'll be out of luck and no discount or remedy will be offered by Wrangler. I used to love Wranglers, but will be switching to Ariat until they resolved these issues with craftsmanship and quality.

I bought the first pair in a size 30 and after wearing them for less than an hour they had ripped at the seam by the zipper. After washing them I noticed a belt loop was no longer attached and the were ripped by the seam on both back pockets. I bought another pair a size bigger. I washed them before I even wore them. When I took them out of the dryer they were ripped at the back pocket seams, the seam by the zipper, the seams on the inner thighs and multiple belt loops. It's like the material was dry rotted and they disintegrated in the wash. I have had multiple other pairs of different styles of the wrangler trousers that have lasted through years of wearing, but after paying over $80 for a pair of jeans that couldn't survive a wash cycle I think I'm moving on to another brand.

The jeans did not fit right at all. Immediate return. Down fall of online shopping.

I do not understand why tall women can not be heavier. Whenever I look at or try on plus sizes or the largest regular sizes, the longest inseam is 34 in. I have a 36 in inseam, and I am a bit heavy, and finding jeans or slacks is nearly impossible without spending half my grocery budget. You would think Wrangler would consider all heavy women; we are not all short.

I love these jeans I've only wore them a few times due to the pockets ripping. I'm having the same issue with other wrangler jeans. So sad because I love this brand of jeans.

Purchased for my birthday, really disappointed, quality is awful. My right belt loop instantly broke, sewed it up, broke again, repeated that 3 times and it's still broke. Then I was shoeing horses and the front foot came up and tapped my thigh, BAM a hole! Quality is very poor, not durable at all. I've only worn literally a handful of times! Will not recommend, will not purchase again! I will stick with Kimes Ranch!

I got a pair of these pants and the first time I put them one the belt loops ripped off. I have worm them very little mostly just to church and now there is two rips on the side of one of the back packets. I spent a lot of money on those pants and they are not holding up. I am very unhappy with these pants. I liked the pants but will not buy another pair because of how poorly they are made.

First pair belt loop tore on 2nd wear. Returned them and got another pair and the fly seam tore. Wrangler used to be made so well and we're my old reliable. Now I won't spend the $.

We've tried just about every "version" of these wide leg trousers and most are fantastic, this Samantha version is terrible quality. They ripped in the same spot within two wears. Size 2 length 36 and size 9 length 36. Both did the exact same rip. When are we going to get the same quality of jeans that men do?! The thin "Jean" material is garbage.

They are super loose, they looked so baggy. I just did not like them at all. They fit fine on the waist but from thighs down are too loose. I liked the flare but in my knees they looked like I was wearing my dad's jeans. I am returning this items.

Purchased 2 pairs from Cavendars back in April. BOTH pairs fell apart in the same way. First wear on each pair the pocket lining ripped in the same spot. A month later the seam in the crotch started to fray. Finally I put them on in August and the entire seam on the rear end came apart. These jeans were loose fitting on me so I know it was not from wearing them too tight. I checked the back seam on the other pair and sure enough, coming apart. Trashed them. I am so disappointed.

I'm a big fan of the Mae Trouser jeans and have at least half a dozen pairs in different washes. I love them. Not a fan of the Samantha wash thoughaAfter wearing them just twice they have rips in ALL FOUR corners of the back pockets. Super disappointed.

The pair I bought ripped out at both rear pockets, the second time I wore them. I should have read the other reviews posted here, because my pair ripped in the exact same place!

I purchased these for a concert, they were great for the 1st wear. Washed them and 2nd time wearing them, the ripped! The rip is on the right rear, where the pocket was sewn to the jeans. These jeans were big for me, so I am sure that it was not me busting out of the jeans. I am typically a size 6, but with the limited sizing of these jeans, went for the size up of 7.

Bout the AB wash and loved the style and fit. However After one wearing the jeans ripped down each back pocket and along the seam in the seat. I wouldn't recommend this style.

One pair was too tight in the thighs, but fit everywhere else, the other was baggy all over. I gave the baggy pair to the thrift store. The ones tight in the thighs, I can wear, but have to wear a couple of days before they loosen up. They also had little snag threads hanging off of them. I was very disappointed. They do not run true to size.

Fabric too stretchy makes you look lumpy, run a teensy bit big and the worst part is the wrangler tag in the back is tiny...barely noticeable, however in the picture it looks larger than it is

Tried on at a store to be sure ordering correct size/length. When received, definitely wasn't the same size that I had tried on that fit! Disappointed and now had to pay shipping for return and waiting on refund!

Wrangled carefully hides the fact that yes you can return items...AT YOUR OWN EXPENSE!!!! It cost me $12 to try on the pants. Kept one, returned one. Never again would i buy from wrangled. I buy online a lot and never ran across such a poor policy to shop from a store!
