Great classic boot. A little stiff at first but loosened after a few wears. IMO they look just the same as Fryes for way less money.

I cannot emphasize enough how much I love these boots. I ordered the size 8 in black, & they are so comfortable that I wore them nearly every day during the winter. They are so resilient! I have worn them in rain, sleet, ice, & quite heavy snow, & my feet (& the boot) stayed dry & comfortable. I believe that the solidness & square toe of the boot helped stabilize my foot. They are also great for my plantar fasciitis! Since I’ve been wearing them, I have not experienced anymore heel pain. Now I want to buy a pair in distressed brown!

I really liked the look of these boots but was very disappointed in the fit and the zippers, and had to return them. They appeared to be solidly made of a heavy-weight but very stiff leather. They felt quite rigid when I put them on and the medium width boot was too narrow for my foot (another reviewer says they soften up after use, which would definitely be desirable, and a softer leather might have given sufficiently in the width). But the main reasons I had to return them were that walking in them was impossible (my heel slipped way up and out of the bottom of the boot with every step) and the zipper on one of the boots was very hard to open and then impossible to close.

I originally ordered the Frye version of this boot, but it did not fit well at all around my calf (way too tight) and it was difficult to put on due to lack of zipper. I was so happy to find these at 1/4th of the price, fits perfect on the calf, plus easy to put on with the zipper! Looks identical, and fits like a dream. Very comfortable. I usually wear 7.5 and actually the 7 was perfect, despite the fact that I have very wide feet. Highly recommend!

Fits true to size and so cute! Glad I opted for a Frey-look-a-like and saved $$$!

I bought these as a gift for my daughter. They seem to be a great alternative to the expensive Frye boots.

I love these boots, they are comfortable on my feet, they look great, and the price is waaay more affordable than the Frye harness boots, BUT....the shaft was 10" with a zipper that, because of my wide calves, I couldn't zip up all the way. I had hoped that the zipper would make the shaft a more customized fit, but it was just a continuation of my usual fit woes. Granted, who is going to see that my boots aren't zipped all the way up if they are under jeans? I will, that's who. Therefore, I can't really justify keeping an item if I can't fully zip/snap/button/whatever. As much as I would like to find a pair of regular harness boots (10" or taller), I have to stick to those that have a shaft at 8" or less if they're going to fit. I guess finding a pair of harness boots just isn't in the cards for me, no matter the brand or style:(

If you have easy to fit feet, these might be a cute cheap option for you but they are not comfort-focused. Slick, hard inside without room for a new insole and hard, clacky bottoms that don't give. Shafts came bent a bit and it's not clear they would ever return to shape. But they look cute.
