These boots are European sized so I was somewhat reluctant when I ordered the Size 40--it translates to size 9 to 9 1/2. Well those are two different sizes--is it a 9 or 9 1/2? I am going to guess it is a 9 1/2 because it was much too roomy and my foot was sloshing around in there. I didn't even bother to put the second one on. I was also a bit disappointed because these boots had obviously been worn and returned because the bottom soles were dirty. They should have cleaned that before they reshipped it to another customer. These are expensive boots and they should arrive clean. That said, they are cute and I would have probably kept them if they would have fit. I did not bother ordering the size down (39 is an 8 to 8/12)--my luck they would be tight so I didn't want to take the chance.

Ordering half size up perfect, however color was much darker than previously had. hoping an exchange will solve color problem.

I'm pretty much always a true size 7, and these boots are extremely small. I sent the size 7 back in exchange for a 7.5, which were also too small (short and narrow). There is a hard seam on the inside across the middle of the foot, making it painful to squat down to pick something up - it presses hard on your foot. Overall, a beautiful, but very uncomfortable boot.

Toe box was way too tight; but my heel was completely slipping out. Love the boot but the fit is terrible.

Broke the first time I wore them. Cheaply made for the price.

After reading the reviews, I ordered 1/2 size up and they were too large.
