I LOVE the look of these shoes, and if your kid has a ton of shoes and only wears these sporadically, I am sure they are fine. My kid has one pair of sneakers at a time and wears them nearly every day to daycare, he's almost 4 and these wore out VERY quickly. I am looking for new shoes for him and was inspired to write this because I realized I spent $45 on these and they lasted less than 3 months. Within probably a month, they looked like he'd had them for a year. So if you're looking for an every day sneaker for a busy kid, pass on these. Style wise --- I LOVE THEM.

These feel a bit flimsy, but you get what you pay for, I guess. Not a lot of support around the ankle. We ended up keeping them because my son loved the bright aqua color, but I don’t expect them to last beyond 3 months with my very active 4yo.

I'm very disappointed, I decided to spend more to get a better shoe for my son, and turned out this hurt his feet, leaving a bright red painful mark on the top of his feet, I feel that prolonged use will lead to blisters. I'm heart broken because he loves the shoes.

Tongue on these is beyond annoying; my son can't even wear them because it always falls into the sneakers (does that make sense??). I've never seen this happen with sneakers before. Even with socks on, the tongues fall back in... they simply won't stay up?! I've attached pictures to illustrate how it is when he first puts them on versus after he takes just a few steps.

My son has a normal toddler foot. He is currently a 5.5 in Striderite. I ordered a 6.5 in these and they didn’t fit at all. They were way too narrow and they were the same size as the Striderites.

We have had these about a month and they are falling apart the rubber is coming off the toe.

Don't believe all the reviews that say these run true to size. we found them to be very narrow. our son doesn't usually need wide shoes, but he does in this shoe. we are returning.
