The leather quality is very nice. However, the tie anchors on the side ripped out immediately upon trying them on. Too bad as I really liked the style. I threw them in the trash. The RL Bryn may be the style to try as there are no ties.

These are beautiful shoes but they run very large.

The quality control has been horrible the last 3 times that I have ordered from Zappos. Either obviously used shoes, wrong shoes or generic boxed shoes with wrinkled paper as I received today. These were bought for a gift, but no way would I gift them. The presentation looks like a pair of shoes I reboxed from my closet to use for a gift. So, disappointing!

These are beautiful shoes but sizing is not consistent. I’ve had some that were worn so much before they came to me - so stretched out my feet wouldn’t stay in. I just received a new pair and they’re too tight. I don’t know what to do.

Once I received the shoes, I felt they did not look as nice as the picture. I felt these shoes were cheaply made.

This shoe was not a good fit for me. Perhaps I should have gone down half a size, but I wasn't over the moon about how it looked on and decided to choose another.

Loved the shoes, but the tie came unglued on first day. Must return.

Overall the loafer was nice, but don't like the cheap tie on the front that links the metal bridle bits. It looks cheap, and doesn't stay tied. Actually didn't even keep these, replaced them with Eastland loafers.

The shoes that arrived on my doorstep today only vaguely resemble the photo on the page. On the page, the color is a rich brown color and the attributes are far more pronounced in the picture than in reality. When I take photos, they look like the item I am photographing and since I am sure that the camera used to take the pictures on your end is at least as good as mine, it feels like they are altered to look more attractive. The leather is so so and they are quite comfortable on. Moreover, the shoes did not come in the original box making me wonder if they are, in fact, the same shoes that I ordered. To top it off, a return slip was not included. This is definitely not up to the usual Zappos quality and service that I have experienced in the past.

I have been a Zappos shopper for years and was disappointed when these shoes arrived damaged with very noticeable scuff marks across the top of the toe of one shoe. The other shoe's bow was completely untied. My impression was that I was receiving a used product and I was surprised by the disheveled nature of this order (certainly not typical of Zappos standards). I will be returning.

While the fit and comfort were terrific, one shoe fell apart at the stitching after one day of wear. They just weren't well made. Very disappointing.
