I'm surprised to see the poor reviews about the fabric of the Billie Mini Bootcut demin. Perhaps they commented on the wrong page? I've had my two pairs for over a month and came back for more. I only wish they were offered in more colors. I'm 5'7" 125# the size 6 fits perfectly. Length too, even after numerous washes. They stretch without being stretchy and look as good as the day they arrived. I live in denim pants and the Billie Mini is my favorite of all my NYDJ.

These jeans are so comfortable and look great! I can wear them with a a blouse and they look great a little dressed up. The dark color is a flattering color for pear shapes. I was told to order a size smaller than I would expect and that was good advice. The smaller size fits like a glove.

I loved these jeans so much that I have been thinking about the review I will write on my commute! They fit exactly like they look on the model. They are comfortable, stretchy, a thick enough fabric, and a nice dark color. I was looking for dark professional looking jeans for work; I am a high school teacher, so they had to be not-your-daughter's/student's jeans! I wanted a baby bootcut that worked with flats and short heels because I never wear high heels to teach on my feet all day. I am 5'9" 126 lbs and the 0 fit perfectly. I tried on more expensive jeans for an hour at Bloomingdales - I'm a 2 in Paige and JBrand, a 0 in AG and 7 for all mankind, for reference. All those jeans fit fine, but designer jeans make their bootcut models with 34-36 inch inseams to be worn with higher heels. Their fabric was also comfortable and fit well, but the comfortable and figure flattering stretchy fabrics also tended to be softer and thinner. These NYDJ ones are a nice weight both for the colder season and the professional/mature appearance. I also tried on Banana Republic denim, which was as professional, less comfortable, and too short. When these jeans arrived I was shocked at how comfortably they fit. Perfect coverage up to just under the navel without a waist gap and without muffining. Perfect length to wear with danskos, 1-inch heels, flats. I can't sing enough praises to these jeans. I will buy this brand and this model again.

I wore these jeans several times and washed them for the first time yesterday. There are wavy puckers just below the zipper and along the inside leg which indicate the the fabric is not holding its shape. I am very disappointed in these jeans.

I wear NYDJ all the time and bought one size down from normal because of the stretch. I wore them once and washed on gentle, hung to dry and they had piling between the thighs like cheap point pants. There are whitish threads coming through the seam to the outside that I clipped before I wore but they keep coming through. (I've worn these twice). I have no idea if the lift tuck works because I can easily pull these off without unbuttoning or unzipping them. According to the size chart I wear a 14, bought a 12 and they are two sizes too big. I haven't changed sizes because I still wear a 12 in my other pair of Billie Mini Bootcut. I was very disappointed in these jeans.
