Great fabric. A soft Ponte, not too stiff, and yet holds up to body curves. I ordered a size down from other brands and they fit perfectly. I love love love the seam down the center to elongate and slim the overall effect. I ordered peacoat heather, a lovely dark navy, and just ordered another pair in black. The brief slit at the ankle looks great and makes a current statement when worn with ankle boots. These will also look great with sneakers, heels, and sandals. Thanks for a great style.

I buy only NYDJ jeans for my 5'7", 135-pound body and usually go down to a 6 from my usual 8 in other brands. I especially love the way they fit at my waist, not below my waist. Love the snug fit as well. So when I needed a nice ponte pant for travel, I was thrilled to find that NYDJ sold one. WELL! The 6 was HUGE on me and was ridiculously short, even for an ankle pant. Did not like the fabric either. Seemed too thin to be called "ponte." Returned them.

I bought these, along with the black NYDJ Pull On Skinny Ankle, in my usual NYDJ misses size 4. These fit perfectly and were exactly what I was expecting. However, I liked the Pull On Ankle pants a little better because the Ponte pants had a center seam which I didn't care for and to my surprise, I also like the fabric better, so the Ponte went back.

The fit was perfect. I own several pairs of ponte knit pants, first pair of ankle pants and I was quite pleased. I am 5.6 and the length was great, not too short. Very slimming for my curvy figure.

These pants are ok, but I'm not sure they are dressy enough for the office. They are comfortable and slimming.
