Feel good

My mission: To find a pair of comfortable work boots that was waterproof, provided protection to my toes, was slip resistant and provided arch support (I have flat feet). These boots are great. First time to purchase Carhartt. I cannot say enough good things about the arch support, although the boots take a little amount of time to break in. It's not a steel toe, but the composite gets the job done (if a little snug). Biggest complaint is the shoelaces, which seem very thin for a work boot, but they can be replaced (if needed). After a week, I'm loving these shoes. Very happy with the purchase.

These boots have held up extremely well to the wear and tear of airport ramp work. Stay dry, stay warm and support your feet very well.

Felt great! True to size and lots of protection. Big upgrade compared to my 8 inch boots from Rocky boots. Back achilles conforming drop design making this footwear easier to flex and have range of motion when driving. Will recommend getting another pair if given the chance. Only flaw to this is the fact it hurts a part of my heel. 4 stars though for nailing everything down. Enough room in the toe area. Snug and comfortable in the rest of the fitting

Good for the cold

So far the boots are what I expected. I have not broke them in yet but I like the boot very much.

Love it!! Love it!! Very comfy, I felt no fatigue after wearing it all day.

Fits True to Size and honestly now is one of my favorite boots for driving. Good ankle support and good construction. The way the constructed the heel to the top is good, almost chapped like a V and allows me to drive comfortably.

Truely I can't give an honest review about any footwear I try because of my broken foot being permanently scarred. The shoes look great and fit well on my good foot but I don't like how the toe protector looks so raised up compared to the rest of the boot. Makes me feel like Ronald McDonald in black boots. This may not bother some other people but style and performance go hand and hand. Who knows, you may like them. Carhartt makes great reliable products.

Got these boots last year and still have them they are a pretty good pair of boots.

I purposely bought mens shoes and bought a size bigger. Shoes rub my heels raw. Extremely uncomfortable. Seems like sizing is off.

I really like the boots appearance and quality but I'm so disappointed in the fit around the ankle. The extra material on either side of the tongue gathers under a seem across the ankle and has an addition leather piece for an eyelet that is directly pressing on the same location which causes bruising pain to the ankle at the lower shin bones. The foot area was super comfortable with plenty of room in the composite toe. The sole is made of very durable material but is still comfortable when walking. They are quite warm and caused my feet to sweat more than other boots. I really wanted to keep them but don't believe the ankle area will feel much better after break in period. I'll have to return.

The heel of these boots would dig and rub on my heels relentlessly, definitely wouldn't recommend.

I wore these half a day before I got a blister on my heal and other points of irritation on left foot. Not happy about the initial fit, but since I bought them and wore them for a day at work, I will complete the break-in of these over time. Hoping they get better.

The boots fit true to size but once tied up the upper material was digging into my leg and left a mark. I also don't like that shoe strings to thin.

These boots fit snug at the collar and substantial cushioning on the foot. Worn for two days no issues except I could feel some pressure at the front and side part of my ankles toward the end of my 2nd day. I wasn't able to see what was pressing into my ankles at first but by day three I've determined its a combination of the rivets on the inside holding the speedlace loops and the gusset where the tongue attaches to the boot. I like the collar to be snug at the top and I can achieve this but then the metal parts dig into my ankle. Also the folds on both sides of the tongue additionally dig into my ankle. The pain I'm experiencing is pretty rough. I just want a good pair of boots for work and not have to think about the pain. I added some extra padding in the form of a low rise sock around my ankle to guard against the pressure but I can still feel the pain. I added several layers of tape over the rivets on both sides but that didn't work. It also somewhat shifted my foot so that now my toes rub the composite layer. I'm going back to my worn out Georgia boots that are nearly worn through on the tread.
