Very warm and comfortable, did not need to “break them in” . Not made of leather but a soft synthetic material. Soles is not slippery.

These boots arrived very promptly like most Zappos purchases. They fit true to size and I wore them for a two mile walk with no issues. Style is also very cute. Highly recommend.

Well these are really really nice boots, that's why I gave it 5 stars. However, if you have any kind of instep you'll never get your foot in it. I am disappointed because otherwise they are pretty perfect.

Normally wear an 8 had to get an 8 1/2 so with thick socks the boots fit great but the size 8 had a better fit for no socks but not long enough like the manufacturer shortened the boot on purpose !

Love this boot but had to exchange from 8 to 8.5 .... toe was really short .... if I wear thick socks the 8.5 will work but again my normal size 8 was really tight and the tip on the toe was really short .... seemed odd so I went up a half size....
