I'm a huge fan of Jack Purcell sneakers but these are not like the others. The soles are not nearly as soft or comfy. The big issue was that the back of the shoe kept rubbing against my ankle and at the end of the day they made my ankle bleed. I was super bummed because I love the look of these. They are a cool looking suede and I love how the white stitching looks on the black sneaker. I'm going to try arch supports or thick insoles and see if that makes a difference. Zappos customer service was amazing and credited me the sneakers. Since I already wore them, they can't take them back so said to just try and make it work or donate them. I love Zappos.

The shoes are great. I felt they are true to size. The zoom cushioning is very comfortable. They also come with black and white laces so you have options.

Love Jack Purcells! And, I love that you can remove the insole to add an arch support. Barely any break-in time is an added bonus.

I've always liked the Jack Purcell's form over the Chuck Taylor's, but they were super hard to find in the right size before the super internet. Not anymore! I purchased a pair of these to replace a worn out pair of the regular black canvas Jacks. My old pair was a 10.5 mens and felt snug both in length and width. I decided to go a full size larger for these and I am super happy that I did. The 11.5 is perfect for my feet size-wise and very comfortable. I normally am a 10.5 in every other style shoe but for these I went a size larger. I never worried once about having trouble returning them if this strategy didn't work, since this is Zappos, home of the best customer service department in online shoes sales. Thanks

The black suede-like material is very durable and does not crease or get dirty easily. I really like these shoes because they go with anything. They are light and comfortable to walk in. Would highly recommend!
