My daughter loves these shoes! She's 3.5 years and they are so easy for her to put on and take off by herself. She likes how they feel on her feet and runs so much easier than she does with heavier standard sneakers. I wasn't sure about the look but she liked them right away. The only problem is the first set we got, one shoe was noticeably larger than the other by about 1/2 inch but the second set I was almost the same - definitely not noticeable to the passing eye or to comfort. I am not sure how they do quality control but that would be one thing I'd encourage this company to focus more on.

Really cute shoes, wanted something barefoot style to protect 3 year old's feet in places he can't be truly barefoot. Hopefully he will wear them. ** Note a size issue to be aware of ** Our first two pairs of RED SIZE 26 (9.5) had a left shoe that was about 1/2 inch bigger than the right. After Zappos did a bin check and said their inventory was not defective, we tried again. The third pair had a bigger right foot and a smaller left foot. We were able to take the left from one and the right from the other to arrive at two shoes the same size. Note they were all labeled the same size (26). Zappos was really nice about processing the returns.

This shoe is awesome for water play and as a summer shoe. Super light and comfy and the style is cute and unique. I bought as I was looking for a minimalist shoe for my daughter who has some toe issues. The toe box is very wide, which is awesome and great for any size foot. This is very large. Thanks to Zappos for the return policy since I had to ordered 4 pairs to find the right one. In Keens she is a size 1 (adult) but in this shoe the 12.5 fit best. The size 13 and 1 were both huge on her. Definitely order more than a few in your first box so you dont go back and forth like i did. THey are pricey for a kids shoe but I'm trying to assist in some issues my daughter is having so it's worth the price for me.

Ran very large (31 was about 8" and 29 was 7.5").

These shoes are so comfortable, easy to put on, washable, and look great! We had to size down a full size, otherwise they are perfect.

Our son has been using these shoes to play in the dirt/mud and loves them. Just rinse them off and ready to go again. No longer have to spend time cleaning his tennis shoes after he plays outside. Haven't used them at the beach yet but plan to try them in water soon. I'm sure they'll do great. Very stylish too. Our son has a tall instep and slightly wide foot so these shoes work great b/c the strap opens far enough to allow his thick foot to fit inside. He sometimes can't get his foot into other molded shoes. They do run a little big so a half size down worked fine and he still has plenty of room.

LOVE these shoes for my 4 year old! It was remarkable to see the improvement in his agility on the playground (and in general running around) from the moment he first put these shoes on. He just finished a big hike (with steep rooted trails and lots of bouldering) in these shoes and I wouldn't have wanted him to be wearing anything but. This style is the perfect summer shoe for a kid. I'm impressed. Will keep buying the brand.

I did not like these shoes at all. He slipped in a puddle of water which meant the bottoms were too smooth. The velcro kept coming undone in the pool.
